Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning MMC!
It is going to be a beautiful sunny day with a high of 52 degrees. I'm really looking forward to meeting my friend for lunch, it has been too long since we last saw each other. I have a few chores to do now so I'm not frazzled when I get home later this afternoon. I hope everyone has a happy Sunday, I will pop back in later today!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's raining here, and about 60°f. A perfect day to drink coffee and watch movies. We went to see the movie "God's Not Dead" last night, and we loved it! There was cheering and clapping in the audience...it's been a while since I've experienced that.

Heading out to mom's for lunch soon. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good evening, friends!!

Hope you've been enjoying your Saturday!

It has been a really nice one here! I met my sister in a small town halfway between here & La Crosse, went to the Root Beer Stand and had lunch. So good! Then we explored the town, and went to a shop that Mom recommended we check out. It was amazing! There are three floors!! And the lower level is year-round Christmas!!!! You can check it out here =]

Then, I enjoyed the beautiful & sunny drive home.

What a difference a day makes! We ended up getting 9 inches of snow yesterday, and it reach 45 degrees today, so it's starting to melt again. We're expecting 50's & 60's next week! Wahoo!

When I got home, Adi & I took Harlowe for a nice long walk. She met some new puppy friends, and it was so nice to enjoy the fresh air!

We ended up picking up some Jimmy John's (subs) for an easy dinner, and plan to wind down a catch a movie on Netflix at some point. After the WI game. GO BADGERS!!

By the way, here are some photos I snapped of the Christmas merchandise they had! Unbelievable selection. They even had some rare Dept. 56 village pieces, I will go back on a regular basis =)

Good evening everyone! Sorry for missing few days here but I got that tiny thing in my laptop from somewhere which made my laptop to crack. It took me some time to find someone who could fix it. Thanks to the IT guy at the campus who offered to fix it, and so I know have my laptop back. I am usually very careful about websites I visit and things I download so I have no idea where this little evil came from. However, the IT guy installed the anti-virus software which now blocks half the pages I visit. :lol: Very funny.

It's one of those nights (it's almost half past one am here) when I don't feel like sleeping yet. Oh well. ^^

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend, and sending LOTS of love. Keep smiling!

Long day ~ didn't get half the things done that I needed to as there was a mess at the store and it took a few hours to clean up. Hopefully there will be no more problems with broken shelves and careless customers who do not put things back where they belong! It looks much better in there now so all is good!

Good evening,



Very busy day at work, my body is very tired. I came home and took an unexpected catnap while I was reading the news on my tablet.



When I woke up from that I was trying to put the finishing touches on JP's Pinewood Derby car for the district races tomorrow, I was trying to put the wheel back on and the car broke. I feel so bad, I can't fix it so he now won't be able to race. I just feel so bad.



Just relaxing before bed, we let JP stay up to watch "Marvel's The Avengers" for the first time, he loved it. He now cannot wait to see Avengers 2 when it comes out next year.

Wayne and I had a nice day yesterday. Took an hour walk out at the Arboretum and came home and cooked out on the grill for lunch. Then we sat around for a little bit trying to figure out what to do because by that time it was only around 1 pm. We started watching The History Channel and got involved in every show that was on and the next thing you know it, hours have passed getting involved in TV watching. We put a movie on at 6 pm then went to sleep when it was over. Talk about a LAZY DAY! Wow! But we enjoy each other's company even when we are being lazy together! =)

I have a lot to do to get ready for the day so I only got a chance to read a few post. I am not sure I will get caught up either!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a nice day here again today with a high in the upper 50's. Not to much going on here today. My aunt has already screwed up her computer so she is going to bring it in so I can fix it. Then I'm going to kick back and watch Nascar or at least watch it rain in Texas.
