Christmas Countdown - 2014

[Holiday]

He gets a fun Honey Do List! He works too hard already and just automatically offers to help me when needed so I don't have to make a list. The only Honey Do List I give him is: What fun thing can we do now??? Life is too short for mundane task, we enjoy any free time we get together!

We get our important things done too but make sure we have fun, fun, fun! =)

Good morning!
We are going to have temperatures in the 50's today with a chance of showers this afternoon.
Well my laptop started acting up again so my husband took it to his office to work on it today. I wish he would bring it to someone but he just has to do everything himself!
I don't have a lot going on today. I'm going to work on a menu plan for next week and a grocery list, I'll probably go to the butcher too. I'm also going to get together with my parents for a little while later this afternoon. We will be going there on Easter and I want to find out what I can cook to help her out.

Bentley woke me up again. I'm in for it. I don't know how I'm supposed to break this habit. This cat has so much energy. Maybe he'll calm down one day. He was running laps around the house at 5:00 a.m. I went to pick him up to calm him down and he had the audacity to hiss at me. He's nuts!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth's show was WONDERFUL! I don't think I'm wrong when I say that she is the prettiest girl on the stage, and the best dancer, too! I wish I could take pictures in the theater so I could show y'all, but you'll just have to take my word for it.

She has shows tonight, tomorrow night and a Sunday matinee.

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!! It's another beautiful day here in central Indy with a high of 67 projected later today. I have the windows open and the birds are chirping. Busy day here. I've already been out running a few errands and now I'm home to get some stuff done around here. Then tonight, my sister is bringing in 1,000 easter eggs and candy that need to be filled for the girl scout easter egg hunt tomorrow. I also need to run to the grocery at some point since I'll be out helping set up and tearing down the easter egg hunt tomorrow. Not to mention that mom has to be at the doctor's at 8am tomorrow for another blood test. It's a good think I actually slept pretty good last night. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you! So far, so good. Just took a 10-minute walk, and the weather is fabulous---partly sunny and I almost didn't need my jacket. I swear there is green grass and daffodil blossoms where there were none yesterday. Everything seems to be bursting out for spring.

Busy busy day today. Grocery shopping in the morning, afternoon spent in the campus organizing massive environmental movie night with guest speaker next week, tidying my room after that and there is still some reading left I want to do for tomorrow's training.

Leaving very early tomorrow too. At around 5am. The parcel from my mum is also delivered tomorrow which is not very convenient because I probably won't be back from Glasgow by that time. My poor friend will have to carry the responsibility of receiving it for me. Oh, she is true lifesaver!

I will try my best to pop in tomorrow evening depending on time I will be back.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday! YAY!!!!

We had a great time going out for our friends birthday last night. I'm just a little sleepy today - TGIF! Mexican was delicious!!! I did get a 2 1/2 mile walk in before we left, so I didn't feel quite as guilty eating soooo many chips with salsa! And we were right, our friend who was sick & didn't get to come along is really mad that we went out without her! Ah well - she's going to have to get over it! Ridiculous! I don't mean that to sound cold hearted, it's just the same ol same ol with her!

It rained a lot overnight! Was still raining this morning but it's stopped now & it's supposed to turn into a beautiful day! Our back yard is a mud puddle again! And it was just starting to dry out a little! I'm not sure if we are heading to the lake tonight or not. It's going to be really wet & muddy there. I might take a drive out there this afternoon & check it out! Need to go to the grocery & let my sisters dogs out this afternoon too. (can you tell I'm already ready to get out of work & let the weekend begin? )

Buster is still hanging in there. He sleeps a lot & circles a lot. Part of me knows we should bring him on his one way trip to the vet, but then he eats so well & he doesn't act like he's in pain. Such a hard decision to make. Thanks for asking!
