Good Morning! I love the vintage Christmas picture!

My Mom is having some trouble with her hip, she injured it playing tennis & again when she was thrown from her bike. And I guess the pain is pretty bad, she is in physical therapy and using a walker right now. Could you please keep her in your prayers?

Good morning and Happy Monday!
The temperatures will be dropping a bit over the next couples of days and we are expecting a wintry mix over night.
Typical day for me, I have chores to do and errands to run. I am also bringing Maggie to the specialist later this afternoon. I need to go to her veterinarians office this morning to sign out her X-rays and test results to show the specialist. I hope we can get some answers, she was up coughing a lot last night. I feel bad for her and I am exhausted from lack of sleep. Wish us luck!

Spotted these on the way to work, so nice to see the flowers coming up again!

The flowers are so nice to see again.. my vegetable garden is even starting to come alive! Spinach, lettuce, peaces... buds on my blueberry bush and my strawberries have their first flower! So lovely after the winter.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here with temps falling from the 60's at midnight to the upper 20's by this evening. The rain should turn to snow at some point but it looks like we will only see a dusting if it sticks at all. Not to much on my agenda for today. Just have to do the normal daily chores. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, The Music Man is finally behind us, and Elizabeth loved every minute of it! She looks so grown on that stage, oh my. I'm looking forward to a break from play practices, but auditions for the summer play, Oliver Twist is next week. How will I ever survive this?!? :-D And she want to tryout for a singing and speaking part this time.

It's been in the 80's all week, and I've been struggling to keep the pool clean and clear. The water is almost warm enough to swim. nice!

been doing a bbq for my dad´s bbq on Friday.....unfortunately without my daddy.......I had to drive him to the Hospital in the morning.......he has COPD....is doing very well.....but he developed pneumonia and is in hospital at the moment.....he is already feeling much, much better tho.....he said we should still do the bbq cos he bought all the meat and sausages....and he didnt want it to go wasted.....so we celebrated a b-day without the bday kid

We have been having sunny, breezy days (finally no rain in sight)! Most of the time is spent outdoors being the lookout and gofer for the guys. We almost have the trusses up, but it is sort of slow because those things are really heavy! We have passed all inspections so far with only a few more to go! Yeah, us!!!

I have two appointments tomorrow and Tuesday with my oncologist to get my Zometa IV infusion. Yuck! On the good side, we will be staying with friends and will go out to dinner with them.

Do you think the snow will stick, Snowflake? How is Harlowe?

That's a big ham---and a whole pound of sugar! I was going to ask if that could be done in a slow cooker, but a ham that big wouldn't fit into a slow cooker! Still, maybe it could be scaled down … hmmm …

It is a big ham! I usually do a big ham when I make them & then I freeze it for quick easy meals throughout the year. My sister is making this for our family Easter on Sunday where there will be 40-45 people, so it takes a big ham. :lol: I'm sure it could be cut down without a problem! Let me know if you try it in a crock pot!

Merry Monday!
Good Morning! How was your weekend? I hope it went how you expected it to go. Ours was a good one. Friday night the children put on a talent show for us, they were so funny. We spent Saturday just doing things at home. Mr. Festive was out on the night. One of his best mates was visiting from out of town. I let the children stay up a little late and we watched some TV and played some games. I was at work yesterday and it was a really hectic day. That is pretty much our weekend.

The morning is sunny and bright , the perfect start to the week. Everyone is off so we have a few things planned. I am also off this weekend as it is Easter Yaaay!!

Anyway, I just popped in quickly to say Hi. I have not been able to read and reply to posts so I hope all is well!

Good weather continues to hold for now but by Wednesday night, we are predicted to get back down into the mid 30's for the low.
(Hey. Do we really need a reminder of Winter at this point??)
We have commenced the work week here at 64 degrees.

Just went through the Hallmark Dreambook. I could literally spend a fortune. I think I might need 10 more trees in my house if I keep buying ornaments, lol!

As we enter yet another week on our journey, let us pause to contemplate the passage of time.
We are moving on.
Moving on through the rolling year.
Moving inexorably on toward that coveted Season -- the Season that contains our Number One Day.

And so we again mark the passage:
Days to the Season: 213
Days to Christmas Day: 255

And the numbers find us now under two weeks away from the 200-day Season Window and just 12 days off from the 1/3 Christmas Day point.
(And that's practically down to single digits!)
Nice start to the week, right?

[Holiday]

I have a prayer request please - my brother in law went in for a heart cath this morning & now he is next in line for the next available operating room! His main artery is 95% blocked! They said it's the kind where you're alive one minute, dead the next. So glad he went in to get checked, but UGH, I hate it! My sis is very upset (obviously) but their 2 kids are on their way to the hospital, my niece should be there soon.
