Christmas Countdown - 2014

Merry Morning. It is Saturday , My favourite day of the week.

We located the problem in the kitchen, a burst pipe line. Mr. Festive fixed the pipe straight away so now it is about getting the water and water logged under flooring to dry out. I could do with a few days of dry, warm weather right about now but no such luck...........

Anyway these things happen, it's part of life and there are far worse

I am at work tomorrow so I probably won't be back till Monday.

I'm glad your husband was able to repair the pipe, I hope the flooring dries out and there isn't any damage!

And we have marched straight on into yet another Weekend.
A Weekend that sees us to two concecutive Milestones!

First up -- today -- the ONE-THIRD MILESTONE TO CHRISTMAS DAY.
Tomorrow -- the 200-day Season Window.
(Back-to-back markers! Does it ever get any better than that here at MMC?)

Nice weather yesterday until late afternoon when the rain and lightning moved in.
A tornado was spotted near a town northeast of us but we had no warnings here.
Looking for a nice, warm, calmer day today where we have started out at 54 degrees.

Good morning!
We are expecting rain on and off today, with temperatures in the upper 50's.
Not too much going on for me today. My husband just left for work. The girls all have to work for a few hours as well. I will be working on my daily chores and I need to go food shopping at some point.
We found out last night that one of our nephews popped the question to his girl and she said yes. We have 17 nieces & nephews and this is the first one to become engaged so its super exciting for us. Kind of makes me feel old though!

So my husband came with us to the boutique and she was a totally different person. She apologized for ordering the dress too big and offered to take it in at no charge. I still had to pay to have it hemmed but I had absolutely no problem paying for that. There was just no way I was going to pay for the entire dress to be reconstructed because she ordered it too big. She is insisting that the dress will look perfect after the alterations. We shall see, I'm praying she is right. We go back in two weeks for the fitting. Fingers crossed!!!

Glad it all got worked out and they are going to take care of you!!

I'm actually quite timid, I do not like confrontations. But the owner was so rude to me yesterday that I was in tears. Let me tell you, the tears turned to anger over night. It could have gotten ugly today, lol. Thank goodness my husband came with me!

LOL!!!! I'm glad we didn't have to use the bail fund!!!

Only a Christmas Crazy Person would be working on spring stuff like tending to a garden, filling up bird feeders, setting up hummingbird feeders, setting up a bird bath all while playing Elvis Presley Christmas Yule Log DVD. Yep! That's me!!!!

back from doctor, turns out it was all in my head !
Ear, throat and sinus infection. He put me on cefprozil for 10 days and I have to come back if not better by then.

Glad you finally know what's going on. Hope the meds have you feeling better quickly!!!!

Good evening all.
Today has been a rough one.
I know we all have so many people to pray for. May I ask you to include a young couple in a terrible accident last night? This married couple were dear dear friends of my daughter's. Their car hit a stopped semi in a construction zone and my daughter's girlfriend, age 33, was killed immediately, her husband is on life support with severe head injuries and not expected to make it.
They have a 2 year old and a 4 week old infant who were not in the vehicle.
These young people were beloved by many. Please remember this family in your prayers if you have the chance. Thanks so much!

That is so tragic. My prayers are going out for all of you.

Hope you all have had a great day! DH and I went out for dinner tonight, then tomorrow we're headed to NYC with my parents, my sister, and her boyfriend on a bus trip. I hope you all have a great day tomorrow. I'll try to tomorrow to read through some of the posts, if not I'll get to them Sunday. Goodnight!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 73 this afternoon. It looks like tomorrow will be nice too but then the rain moves in for everyday this week. I have a lot of running to do today but I'm not real motivated. I'm running out of time to finish getting the stuff I need for my camping trip though so I should probably get out there sometime today. Maybe after a few more cups of liquid energy. Other than that, not much going on here today. Just going to try and stay awake for the Nascar race tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
