Good evening,

Busy day at work, got a lot accomplished.

Today is my wife and I's, 12 wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's been 12 years already. She surprised me with a new Bruins hat as a gift, she knows I have been looking for a new one for a while now.

I am ready for sleep now, one of the busiest, exhausting weeks of the year at work is upon me.

Things are getting dicey here....tornadoes are east of us....they have leveled two towns...Vilonia, AR and Mayflower, AR.

Oh my, that is devastating! Praying for all those affected by the storms and for the safety of everyone in today's storm paths!

Merry Monday!!! I hope everyone had a good weekend and you are all ready for the week ahead. I have a busy day planned so I hnly browsed the last page of posts. Praying for all in the path of bad weather.

I am just having a quick coffee. I have just put on some laundry but that will have to be it for housework today because I have a lot of work to get through. I need to stay focused today , it is so easy to get distracted when you are on the computer......

Good rainy morning MMC! It is pouring down rain right now! Better to have a rainy Monday than a rainy Saturday or Sunday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I haven't caught up on posts at all, but I'll see what I can do about that!

Friday night we had no plans. We stayed out at the lake, Jim went mushrrom hunting & when he got back we walked to the tavern up the street to grab a bite to eat, hung out with the neighbors. Saturday we sat outside most the afternoon, birthday party for our nieces Saturday night, then we met friends/neighbors back at the lake. Yesterday was our friends sons bday lunch, then I sat outside at our friends house while Jim went mushroom hunting - no luck finding mushrooms in 4 woods. Hopefully this warm rain will make them pop! And here we are - back to Monday! This should be a quick week - Tuesday night I'm going with my sister/Mom to see God's Not Dead. Thursday night we are taking our friend Teresa out for her birthday! Tonight I should do some cleaning, but this rain makes me want to watch a movie & nap! Lol!

Oh no. It looks like Tupleo, Mississippi just got hit hard by a tornado. That's the only thing I hate about this time of year!!!

We were talking about Goodwill. I know here in the midwest, everything in the store is half off on the first saturday of every month. I'm pretty sure it's a nationwide thing though.

At the Goodwills in MI, Sunday the new color starts at 50% off and the color that was replaced is on sale at $1 for clothing and 75% off everything else. Rarely is the entire store on sale. If you follow them on FB there are weekly coupons.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's already been a stormy morning here and it looks like there will be more to come later this afternoon. We are under a moderate risk of tornado's but not as big of a risk as those down south. The picture's coming out of Arkansas this morning are just heartbreaking. I need to sit down this morning and make a list of things I need to do this week before I leave. I guess I should put pack at the top of the list. Right now, I just have piles of stuff all over my bedroom. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

You probably would melt! We have gone in late o October to air shows with the high's in the 90's. People were passing out left and right. The first aid tent was really busy that day! Then we have gone in October where you had to wear a coat!

Easter Break is over....today was Kandice´s first day back in school...she was not very happy this morning....but she enjoyed it in the end......

They did their yearly class-intern competition in reading....and for the second year in a row Kandice has become the Reading-Queen of her class......on Wednesday she will read again....against the winners of the winners of the other 2 second grade classes in her school....the winner of this one will go to the City competition.....She was very proud again!!!!!

Awesome! Congratulations to her!!!

watching M.A.S.H. at the moment.....been resting most of the day....the coughing is still not better....and not worse....I hope and think it will be better tomorrow.....at least I did not have a headache today...so that is some improvement

Was it the movie or the series?

Wayne and I watch the M*A*S*H series just about every single night before bed. We have the entire 11 years on DVD. We have been doing that for years! During November thru December we give it a break and only watch Christmas stuff.

I'm headed 13 hours north of here into the great north woods to do some camping with my friends over the weekend. I'll be leaving late Thursday night and getting back Monday evening. (As long as Greyhound doesn't leave me stranded in Chicago)

Wayne and I have a passport. We will just sneak you across the border when we go to visit Christmasstar!!! Ha ha! =)

I just finished watching M.A.S.H., and I too am still coughing although mine is getting better. I am doing thing again and trying to get my energy back. I am glad I listened and stayed home again today, I would never have made it through a 7 hour shift.

I am glad you are feeling better. Keep drinking lots of fluids!

I'm sure the picture does not do the room justice. For my tastes, it is too white. I like the high shelf, but not so sure about the reindeer hanging from the ceiling ~ they would be too scary for Palmer. I much prefer the vintage tree picture you posted the other day, esp. since I have a lot of the same style of ornaments ~ they have been in the family for years. cheesy

I go away for a few hours and the place has been busy! =)

My mom, aunt, granddaughter and I packed up a picnic and went to the Arboretum. We had a nice time!

I sure hope everyone is okay in the path of this storm!

I think it's beautiful but I could imagine my grandchildren and all my furry kids making quite a mess with all that white in it!!! All they would have to do is look at it and it's already dirty. Ha ha!!!

I like the down home country Christmas look and the vintage Christmas look best! =)

Just got back from the store again. My niece's won coupons for free fish last night at the carnival and all I've heard about is that they don't have a fish bowl so their mommy wouldn't let them go get them this morning. So we went in and got a starter kit with the aquarium and everything else they need to get going. Now their mother has no excuse!!! :lol:

That was very nice of you to do that! I'm sure the girls will enjoy!
