Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning all!

Had to take William to the doctors this morning. Standard eye infection that needs drops. Just made a coffee and folding laundry. Ash still isn't feeling well, same thing through the last pregnancy. She just has morning sickness, all the time. Sheesh. I was watching some of the 2013 Santa Claus Parade I recorded off tv. Awesome to watch because it even has Christmas commercials in it too! Everyone around me here (but my Windsor friend) DOESN'T want to hear anything about Christmas/Winter. Its quite sad. I have a Christmas countdown going on my whiteboard at work! Well back to laundry! Hope you all have a fantastic day!

William and Ash are in my prayers. I hope you are having a MERRY day!

The past few days have been so busy and I still have so much I need to get done for next week. There were hundreds of garage sales in my area this weekend and I didn't have time to stop at a single one, so today I went to Goodwill on my way home and found a Hallmark Santa Claus plate, a Wally Lamb Christmas book and the movie "The Christmas Cottage". Yay!

Lucy Fur had kittens! She hasn't shown them to me yet, but when she does and she is comfortable having me around them, I will take pictures.

Good evening, everyone.

It's been a very exhausting week. I think I' be doing a little better if the NHL Playoffs were no so entertaining to watch! It's hard to fall asleep with all this action, especially when your favourite team (LA Kings) play their games three hours later into the evening.

Well, my dad is still here and we're watching the Wild at Blackhawks game. Tomorrow, we have a trivia fundraiser for my team and our trip to play at worlds in Italy. Hopefully we can raise a lot of money for that, but we'll see!

Hope you've all had a great week. The weekend has finally arrived!

Heck of a comeback by the Kings, it is worth being tired for the playoffs!!!!

Got in late last night, and had to be at work for 6am this morning so little time to post last night.

Not much going on here, just watching the Kentucky Derby after catching the 3rd period of an incredible Bruins comeback from 3-1 to win 5-3. They scored 4 goals in a little over 8 minutes.

I may be back later, we will have company over, so

Wayne said he use to watch it every year. We are going to watch it and just for fun picking a horse. We don't know a thing about any of them, have not followed them at all.

I picked this horse for the word, "Holiday" in it before I heard anyone talking about him and now I see he seems to be a favorite. Wayne picked Danza but didn't realize a lot are picking him too. We will see what happens!

I got my daughter, son-in-law and grandkids picking them for fun too. Racing day at our house. Now I need to find a funny hat to wear!!! Maybe a Santa Hat!!!
