Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a nice morning here, but it's supposed to warm up to the low 90's...yikes! Have I mentioned lately how much I love my air-conditioned office?

I have a few things going on this morning, then the boss is going out of town for the week. That used to be a good thing, but these days it just means I have to keep up with his stuff, too...LOL.

I have a city council meeting tonight, and Jacob & Elizabeth have the spelling bee this Wednesday. Another busy week.

I hope y'all have a great day!

And I just found out Elizabeth's dance recital is Friday night. Busy, busy! It keeps me hopping!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! My sister made breakfast burritos and tamale pie casserole! We're livin' large today, and we're sitting around singing with the Andrews Sisters.......

Good morning!
It is going to be partly sunny today with a high of 63 degrees. We're only in the mid 40's right now. I just tried to open up the back door so the cats could look outside but it's still too chilly out there.
My youngest wasn't feeling well when she came home from work yesterday so I let her stay home today and sleep in. I'm hoping she'll feel better after getting some rest. I'm going to make her a big pot of chicken soup.
Not too much else going on for me, typical day of errands and chores.
I hope everyone is well and has a very Happy Monday!!!

cheesy Good Morning everyone! It's a sunny gorgeous morning, cool but supposed to warm up to around 70 degrees today. I am sitting here waiting for the contractors to show up at the house this morning at 9:30. The second part of my house renovations are to start today~ Let's hope and pray that everything starts off on the right track.

I am off work today to be here for that, plus I'm just going to hang around the house and relax for the day....

Thanks Sugar, I hope you have a good day today as well! One thing that I am going to do today is to plant about 7 Maple trees. They are offsprings, of a Maple tree that my grandfather planted with his dad back in 1940 at his house. I am going to plant them here at my new home today. I wanted my grandfather to see that in a lot of ways....

I have also planted another 58 trees since we moved here at the end of December on a bottom acre that I have and don't plan to use. I planted Pin Oaks, White Oaks, Birch, Hazelnuts and Dogwoods.... I thought that it would be nice to return the land back to it's original condition to help bring the deer, squirrels, rabbits, etc... back to my property...

That is so wonderful! Will be beautiful & sentimental
