At 6:15 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts.
A line of strong thunderstorms extending from Georgian Bay southwestward to western Lake Erie is moving eastward. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Hail and locally heavy rain are also possible. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. In Canada, lightning kills up to 10 people every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors.
