Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy with a high around 80 degree's. It should be a perfect race day for everyone at the Track. Which I have to say, I'm jealous of all of them. I'll be planted here in my trusty recliner though watching all of the coverage of the Indy 500 and then the Nascar race later today. Unless my family changes their minds and we end up having the cook out today instead of tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I only learned to drink tea a few years ago. Now it's my go-to if I need a little boost, or if I want to relax. I have a little "tea corner" on the kitchen counter with my tea caddies, sugar, mug, spoon, etc. My favorite is PG Tips with a spoonful of Sugar in the Raw and a little milk. Some of the local supermarkets carry it, but they don't carry the decaf---I have to get it online. It makes good iced tea, too, especially with a couple squirts of lemon juice!

Wow, thank you for sharing. I will definitely try that. But first I need to buy the tea. ^^

Here's the newest afghan---granny squares! All made with leftovers from other projects.

It's beautiful! It makes you wait for cooler times to snuggle in it. ^^

Good morning!
It is going to be a nice day, mostly sunny with a high of 72 degrees.
Not too much going on for me today. The girls will all be working and my husband has some things to do in the yard. I need to run out in a little bit to pick up a few more things for our barbeque tomorrow. I have some cooking and baking to do later this afternoon and a bunch of homemade salads to make. I also have some cleaning to do. I'm hoping to squeeze a walk in at some point as well.

My BIL is at the track so my sister can't decide if she wants to have it for dinner after he gets home or tomorrow when they are calling for rain. So who knows what we will end up doing.

After dropping mom off at home again me and my girls went to a few yard sales.
I picked up a box of Christmas lights for only $5!!! Did not find out till I got home it contained 10 strings of lights and 3 extension cords and they all work

It's been gray and cloudy much of the day, but now we're getting some sunshine. I'm sitting in the "library," and it's so nice to see the sun, relax, and visit with all of you. We'll probably have a movie evening. Mr. has finished repairs on a comedy (some of the old cement splices were breaking, so he's re-making the splices with splicing tape). We haven't run this one in a while, so it'll be fun to see it again. It may be time to break out the Whirly-Pop and make some popcorn!

Nice job on the afghan! You're very talented. Hope you and Mr. had a fun night, last evening!
