Good evening!
Just popping in quick to say hello. We had a nice day. We had great company, yummy food and beautiful weather. I was afraid it was going to be too hot today but some clouds rolled in and it was just perfect. I read through the posts quick but I don't have time to respond. I need to jump in the shower and then go to sleep since my alarm will be going off at 5:00am I hope everyone had a great day and enjoys the rest of their evening!

Well I've watched Home alone, Arthur Christmas, the Formula one race, the Indy Car race, and the Nascar race so far today. I think I'll finish the day with Christmas with the Kranks.

I am all caught up again, sometimes you get so far behind just by missing a few hours. cheesy

We were pretty busy here today, we had a small get together and cookout, sometimes burgers and dogs are just what the doctor ordered.

Watching the Griswold clan in "Vacation" before heading to bed, I just can't seem to get caught up on my sleep lately.

Inventory day tomorrow, so working late.

Whats new?!!? WELL, I Got accepted into University for September for the Health Care assistant Program (Registered care aide, long term care aide.. the list goes on and on!) ! After much consideration of what I should do with my life... I finally applied in February To Vancouver Island University...and had to write up a "Personal Profile" on why I should be chosen for the program etc, then was invited to an Interview with one of the program instructors, where I had to fill out a questionnaire about what made me interested in that program and field of work, and also gave various situations that I could potentially come across in the health field and how I would deal with them. Then about 3 weeks later I got my acceptance letter Was terribly nervous during the interview and thought I spoke too fast and was jittery but apparently I did alright!!!
I am hoping to Work within Vancouver Island Health Authorities after graduation, in the hospital (VIHA is a HUGE organization that deals with various types of health field stuff, from Health inspectors-Care facilities..etc, If you're in the Health field in British Columbia, it's good to get on with them because they offer benefits, higher pay, etc etc)! Also considering getting a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within the next couple years.. Who knew I'd be into nursing! haha!!!

Other than that, I honestly don't have too much new with myself. OH wait, next week I am chopping all my hair off, have had hair down to my lower back for at least 6 years now, time for a change.. Also thinking of dying my hair a Dark, wine red...Versus the Jet black I have (...yes I am dreading the "stripping" process, WHY oh WHY did I have to go black)

My Dearest Love, Ryan, is doing swell also! Still on the job hunt.. Hoping he finds work soon!!! But until then, I enjoy him being my sweet little housewife :lol:

Good evening everyone! Such a nice evening here. My room window is wide open to let lots of fresh air in. ^^ Now, when I am done with my friend's university project, I am working on my cousin's school work. I wouldn't do that for her if she wasn't desperately stuck in her hectic life - lots of curriculum, private tutors and exams. The only little thing I can do for her is to write her a 6 minute-long speech about British afternoon tea for her English class. ^^

This takes me back...... believe it or not..but my mom used to do some of my english homework HAHAHA then would ask me what mark she got. OOPSIES LOL

We are finally getting into the warmer temperatures here too. So much rain the past while it is nice to be warm again.
Enjoy you relaxing day ! It is not a holiday in Canada, we had ours last weekend. I am off to work in a couple of hours.

I hope you had a good shift at work. We will be doing a lot of stuff at home and going to the local park for the two weeks. I'll be coming up with various things to entertain them indoors and in the garden when we get the odd dry day

Merry Morning! I hope you all had a great day yesterday. We have one more three day weekend left for the year. It really hit me this morning how far into the year we have gotten!

I was so relieved to hear on the news this morning that Paul McCartney is recovering nicely. Whew!

I'll be entertaining the children today and hopefully I'll get a little work done to. It is raining and cold out. Looks like it will be like this for the rest of the week to
