My house is so nice and quiet!!!
so the mayor is also the clean up guy? You need to hire some staff!I spent most of this morning (I took a half day off) cleaning up from Bellville Railroad Day outside, then I met my boss and some customers at a nearby jobsite, then I had to do a little more work this afternoon when I got home.
This humidity is thick! I finally got a chance to jump in the pool and I took it. Boy, that was nice!
I hope y'all have a great evening! cheesy
I know, went through a few years like that, hate the job, need the money.Thank you.
I am terribly frightened of possible changes in my job with the dreaded "comfort level" I have achieved where I am at, but I cannot go on any longer and be happy. My job is making me completely miserable.
I am okay with it, we are saving money without turning on our AC yet this season.
Squirrels are awesome!!!
Good morning, MMC!!
Wishing you a blessed day!!

we have lots of squirrels here, the cats love watching them from the windows. The birds yell at them a lot but mostly they are no trouble.I was at a stoplight this morning when I saw a baby squirrel hesitating in the bushes, tentatively moving toward crossing a two-lane road in morning traffic. I wanted to roll down the window and yell, "Don't do it!" Before I got the chance, traffic started coming down the other lane, and the little guy got scared and turned around and ran back into the bushes. He made a wise decision.
There are almost always squirrels in the backyard, and I'm surprised sometimes at how vocal they are---they have different kinds of chatter and even little barks that you hear sometimes.
Good Morning, Everybody.
Rise, shine and smell the.......tea!
Yep, my friends. TEA is where it's at.
(Forget that cough-ee stuff!)

You don't know the half of it...we LOVED it! It was so much fun to play in public again! All the guys were so stoked after playing that were going to buy new equipment and start the reunion tour.
Of course, we're going to have to change our band name. After 30 years of playing, we need something more our age. Some like "Hootie and the Blowfish".
How about "Preparation H and the Old Farts"?
All clear! Lasagna is coming up!

Good evening friends! I know I haven't been around much lately. It's been a crazy year first with a bad car accident involving my sister in law, then an accident in April that claimed the lives of my daughter's dear friends who left behind a 2 year old and a 2 month old and now my father-in-law diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.
I don't tell you this stuff to bring anyone down, but to let you know that I think about all of you often, but the usual merriment I feel approaching Christmas in July just isn't there for me right now. I hope you all understand that I haven't forgotten all of you dear folks and wanted to say hello!
home again, dinner done, watered my outdoor plants, scratching my now at least 2 dozen mosquito bites!
I was just watering my plants, too!
Got nailed my something on my back, can't tell If it was a bee or horse fly. It is pretty swollen.
Hope your bites feel better!
I'm going to hunt down my calamine lotion =]

Good Morning All,
Have a cheerful and pleasant day!

But regardless of your beverage proclivites, we can all agree that THIS really hits the spot:
Days to the Season: 156
Days to Christmas Day: 198
And now that we have entered double-100's territory, the inquiry naturally turns toward our next Milestone Marker.
<< Already, Crown? Can't we give it a rest for a week or two? >>
No, little voice. We must push on.
Therefore, after consulting our post number 1 chart, I hereby announce that our next marker (number TEN on the chart and only 16 days away)
is none other than......get this......the HALF WAY POINT TO CHRISTMAS DAY 2014!
(The numbers don't lie, Folks.)
Well, the humidity has started to climb a bit but the rain held off until late evening yesterday.
Good chance for more for the rest of the week along with temps in the low 90's
Right now, we have begun this 2nd day of the work week at 70 degrees here in the capital city.
May you all have a Totally Terrific Tuesday Today!
Bye Bye Birdies!
