They sang a bunch of songs during the ceremony and she had been working so hard on them - they put her dead last, to walk up on the stage, to be in the group, which I found odd. I though maybe it was because she is on the shorter side. I found out later on from one of her teachers, it's because they thought she is becoming such a singer and performer. I was so proud! Made me cry even more!

They sang a bunch of songs during the ceremony and she had been working so hard on them - they put her dead last, to walk up on the stage, to be in the group, which I found odd. Made me cry even more!

Prayers for my dad please, he has been out in the hospital with pneumonia. Mom thinks he will be okay, but his fever got so high today she took him to the ER and they admitted him.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm still sore and covered in bruises from all the manual labor I've been forced to render this past week. My brother is also trying to move this week, and needed my help Sunday. Wow, he has some heavy stuff, including an upright piano...that neither one of them can play. We had to lift that heavy thing onto the trailer, then back off at his new place. AND THEY CAN'T PLAY IT! Grrr.

I think what I need is a week in the Great Smoky Mountains. And that's what I'm getting from June 28 to July 6. I can't wait to get back to my beloved Smoky Mountains! Don't get me wrong; I love Bellville, but there's something about the mountains that calls my name. LOL

Good evening all!

We found out the date for baby #2 has changed. We were told that it was going to be a Christmas day baby. My Wife is further along! Middle of November baby. But I will still have the Christmas stuff up at that time so that's cool. I am currently listening to Christmas music, dreaming of Christmas and snow. We are under the 200 day mark now! WOW! Next month is Christmas in July! Hopefully they play some good movies on tv. I will be having my buddy down to visit for our yearly Christmas in July Movie marathon! Well back to the music. A whole week up here. It will be crowded over July 4th but there will be lots to do. We will be home that week. We have a 3 day July 4th festival in our county.

That's always a tough week to visit, but we've made is sort of a tradition with my cousin and her family. They go up and stay at her dad's place which is just over the hill from mom's place. We do a lot of grilling that week, and go to Maggie Valley's fireworks show.

I'm ready for some down time in the higher elevations! :grin:

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a stormy day here in central Indy but at least it's going to be a cool one too. So the windows are open and the fans are on. I've already run a few errands and now I have a few things to do around the apartment. Then I think I'm going to do some baking while the Christmas music is cranked up!!!! Good morning MMC! It's a rainy ol day here in Ohio! So far it's just sprinkling around. I was hoping it would hold off until later so I could get the lawn mowed! After work I have to hurry home & get Gracie to the "spa"! (groomer) Tomorrow morning she goes in to be spayed, micro chipped & get her rabies shot. Then she will have to wear the "cone of shame" - poor girl.



Other than that, not much going on today except work! Should run to the store tonight to get things for Fathers Day. We are having both families to the lake again for a cook out. Hopefully the weather cooperates b/c our trailer isn't big enough for 60 people. Lol!!

I'm back in the saddle and planning to stay put for a while.


First up.
Big THANKS to our own Christmasstar for her stellar countdown posts while I was away.
Not only that, but she saw us safely through those majestic 200-day Christmas Day French Windows.
And what does that mean?
Well, that we are now in a DOUBLE 100's level count mode!

The figures:
Days to the Season: 157
Days to Christmas Day: 199

Not only do the numbers confirm a double-100's situation, they also tell us that by early August, we will be down to a DOUBLE DIGIT count to the Season!
(How much WOW'er can you get?)


Great weather at the coast and our place is all ready for the first of our Summer renters set to arrive on June 15.
By contrast, we are facing possible rain here for today and most of the week ahead.
Our back door thermometer reads 71 degrees at this hour.
