Christmas Countdown - 2014

Merry Morning everyone. How are you all? I hope all is well. I stayed up late last night working and ended up forgetting Tooth Fairy duties!!! Yikes I had to spin a tale this morning as to why the tooth fairy didn't show up.......eeek!!!!!

I am exhausted already and so much to do. We have dry, sunny weather here and it feels great. It may reach 19 degrees today - that is roasting for us!!

World cup starts tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!!! However due to the time difference it will be tricky following the games.

we had a very loud thunderstorm come through here last night, the rain was great and very much needed by the farmers.

It is election day here in Ontario so as soon as work is done I will be heading to the polling station to cast my vote.

I refer this time to Weekend Eve!

But as long as we're at it:
Days to the Season: 154
Days to Christmas Day: 196

And as long as that subject has come up, consider this:
The HALF WAY marker to Christmas Day arrives in just 2 weeks.
Two weeks from this very day, in fact!


Warmer yesterday and the humidity continues to increase.
Got a little relief with an afternoon storm. (The good kind, without lightning and wind.) We may be in this pattern for several more days.
Starting off this day-before-Weekend Eve, we show 70.5 degrees on our digital back door thermometer.

And it's not too soon to start mentally gearing up for the Weekend!

Yup, I've done that before.... however the next morning there were two dollars there, instead of the usual one. However, my little witty one's light bulb light up and says to me maybe we should do that every time. My they learn fast!!!!:lol:~

Oh your so very much welcome, I just love that photograph!

Yes and no, he's home (in Maryland) but did not stay at the house last night. He had to report the Middle River base in Maryland, first thing this morning, so he stayed at his girlfriends apartment last night since she is about 50 miles closer to it than us. He was wiped out last night (since he was up at 3am the night before), so he come home, hugged his pop, ate dinner, took a nap, chatted for a little while and then he left. He's growing, putting on weight and he's taller than me now. My oh my, my boy is slowly growing into a man right before my eyes....

it´s 9:30pm here.....and the heat won´t go out of the house....this is the part I do not really like about summer.....eventho I love summer.....but those hot nights are terrible....it´s goin to cool down a little tho....so all cool....

[Holiday]

home again, ribs and chicken on the grill. It has gotten hot and muggy and no one had the AC on at home so it is taking awhile to cool off in here.
Just going to relax, watch a movie and maybe get some studying in.

Hope it was as great as it sounds!

Thanks, Buddy!!!!! Her blood level hasn't changed since friday so they are holding steady on the dose. Go back in 2 weeks.

Good news! Continued prayers!

Under a tornado watch here...tornado did touch down in the county beside us. Storm is moving 20 mph. Nasty storms surrounding us. It's going to be a good night to stay in! Storm isn't too far away from the southern part of our county, which is where my parents. Looks like it should head east, according to the Doppler, but we have a nasty severe storm heading our way.

Hope it missed all of you!!!

Oh yeah!!! Carl has installed a swim up Tiki Bar!!!!!

One of my favorite things!
