Thanks! We did, just didn't sleep well that night. I had to get up early, too, to go home for Father's Day. It was still storming for half of the trip! Crazy!! ️️

Happy Monday everyone! It is going to be 85 today in CT but I was cleaning out my junk draw this weekend and found 2 apple and cinammon plug ins so it smells so fall/Christmasy in my house today.

Some of you may know that Paul McCartney came down with a virus in Japan before he was just about to start his tour. He had to cancel the whole tour there and in Korea. He was suppose to start his USA tour this Saturday and we have tickets for his concert Monday. He has now had to postpone the first part of his tour until he is completely well so his concert here is now scheduled for October. I was really looking forward to the concert next week but his health is way more important! I just want him well! We will see him in October!

DD takes drum lessons & her first concert is the end of this month. The band is playing "Come Together". That song is stuck in my head from all the practicing she does at home!

Back from a week of camping & we had a good time. I'm almost caught up with laundry! Hair cut & color tonight, so it'll be later before I get home. Didn't sleep well on vacation, so still trying to catch up on sleep.

Itching for some Christmas music or a movie. Just have to find the time.

Wow, Massive tornados in Nebraska. Praying for all of the people there. The only good thing is that they appear to be mainly out in the country and not any where near any major towns.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

My laptop is acting up again, so our IT department is working remotely. I'm using an old computer that was lying around.

I had a great Father's Day with the family. Elizabeth had play practice, so we all went out to eat after church, but before practice. It was my choice, so we went to Moe's Southwest Grill. I love that place!

My good weekend was dampened, however, by the unexpected death of an old friend's wife. I went to school with Joey, and we've both worked at the same place for more than 25 years. They're still not sure what happened, she was only 40, but he and their children are devastated. I plan to go to his house again this afternoon with our manager. Prayers for his family would be appreciated.

It passed quickly but then my son got sick Saturday and we had to stop our drive a few times. After we got home I got sick, but am thankful I was off the road when it hit! It came on quick and only lasted a few hours for everyone, but was no fun! I've been calling it a case of Mickey Mouse's revenge.

But it was a good trip.

So, has there been any word on MMC's Christmas in July?
