Great news snowflake!!! Hoping & praying for a 100% recovery!!!

Good afternoon MMC! I'm going to post quick while I am able to get online! Lol! Then hoping to catch up on the boards! What a stormy night!! It was so loud & bright & I didn't think it was ever going to end. Gracie was pacing back & forth between us on our bed. It was a great nights sleep! Ha ha!
I ended up making a double batch of cinnamon rolls last night for my sister, for Sunday morning after my nieces engagement party this weekend. I had them raising when I got a text from my next door neighbor asking if I could make a little going away party for our neighbor boy Adam tonight at their house at 6:00. They are having sausage & pancakes (his favorite) - so I asked what I could bring - and offered cinnamon rolls - since it's a breakfast for supper kind of theme! I was too tired to start the process all over again last night, so at lunch today I started a 3rd batch of rolls - will finish after work & they will be fresh from the oven for tonight. Geesh. Cinnamon rolls coming out my ears! Our neighbor boy is going to play football (quarterback) for the University of Pittsburgh. Pretty cool. He leaves Saturday.
That's about all that has been going on around here. I hope all is well with all of you!!

xx Hoping this will post...

YAY! It worked!
Our computers are running sooooooo slow today. Lightening must have hit a something somewhere last night that has everything bogged down!

Hope you had a wonderful time yesterday!

Thanks sugar! We did have a great time!

I always follow this site, all year. They have a holiday TV tab to click on. They have stuff for pretty much everyday. It's called Mostly Christmas. I LOVE it!

Thanks for the link. I have it pulled up now!! Looks cool! Looks like maybe we should have gone with the Starz channels rather than HBO in our package!
Hope you are having a great day!

Just got back as well first time on my phone since Saturday. Jeff hooked me back missed everyone

Welcome back!!! glad you are hooked back up!

It's too bad we have lost many of our best because of him.

That's really sad. Hope you are having a good day today!

Good evening,

I was called in to work for an emergency this morning, power outage last night from the storm, so we had to throw out thousands of dollars of meat. I once again requested a meeting with a higher up, and had it the instant I requested it. I told her everything that has been happening, and she said that it sounds like he is trying to get rid of me. So her and the store manager are going to investigate him, and figure out why the h**l he is doing what he is doing. So the next few days are going to be VERY uncomfortable once he finds out his write up of me has been tossed out yet again. She even told me if I don't want to work with him, to call out and it will be an excused absence. I won't use that but she seems to understand the trouble I have been dealing with.
I am feeling better after I talked with her, it ended up being a 45 minute meeting and I got a lot off my chest.

The storm ended up knocking down a large tree in our back yard, and whipped our gazebo type thingie that covers our outdoor tables and chairs 20-25 feet from where it belongs. It has a steel frame that was bent and it weighs close to 100lbs.

I got to head to bed, back to work early, I should sleep well tonight.

Good night, everyone.

So glad you were able to talk to her & you are feeling better about it! That's great! I hope she keeps her word & I hope he screws up! (Is that mean?? Lol) Good luck! Sorry to hear about your gazebo, but glad you're safe!

Morning!

I really hope you all are well. I am not able to keep up these days.

It feel like Christmas here with the World Cup on. England play tonight. Streets, houses, cars are all decorated with festive banners, flags and bunting! We are hoping for the best!

Congratulations to the USA on their win on Monday night!

Take care you all . Work and chores beckon.

Enjoy the world cup!!!

Good afternoon MMC!
I had some trouble loading this site, but finally I'm in! Hurray!
I got back from London very late Monday evening.
We had a great four days there, me and my girls.

My stepson got back from his year in USA last night!
He had the best year of his life! Im so happy for him!
He is planning to go to college there too!

Last day of school for all our kids tomorrow and then it is 2 months
with SUMMERBREAK! Juhu! Can't wait!

❤️ Have a great christmassy day everyone! ❤️

Sounds like you had an awesome trip. How fun to have another trip to look fwd too! glad your stepson made it back safe & he had a great time too! I'm sure the kids will enjoy the next 2 months!!!

Wow!
The heat!
The humidity!
The oppressiveness!
(Ah! To return to the cool days of early Spring or Fall!)
But we must deal with reality.
This morning, we have started things at 75 degrees, bound once again for the upper 90's.

Well, regardless of your H&H, try to keep cool while you work on having that Thrilling Thursday, OK?

I'm not complaining, not complaining, not complaining (after the winter we had!) ... Stay cool crown!

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!!!!! It's so hot out there!!!! The humidity is just outrageous!!! So I'm going to be hanging out in the air conditioning the rest of the day. I got a call early this morning. My sister screwed something up while checking her and my niece's in online for there flight tomorrow. So I had to run her out to the airport since she didn't know how to get there, to get it all fixed. Then I ran some errands with her and the girls. Now I'm just relaxing before going over to help my neighbor Bill out for a few hours this afternoon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're a good brother!!! Hope you are staying cool & having a great day!

Oh, it's so nice out today, and I'm too busy to get out for a walk! My desk is clear at the moment, but there's a 4 p.m. deadline for some material, so I'd better stay put in case of last-minute changes/additions.

Good Thursday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I hope this'll post! I can't imagine the satisfaction that these internet attackers get by causing "denial of service" here, but I envision a couple 40 year old nerds in their parents' basement giggling about how much power they have. They deserve coal in their stockings...but I bet Santa will show them mercy. He always brought me something, even when I didn't deserve it!

VBS is over, and Elizabeth is at the Tybee Island beach with my niece and her boys. Just for the day, though. I left couch-potato Jacob watching Netflix when I came back to work from lunch.

I really, really have to cut the grass this afternoon. Then I'm getting in the pool. It's getting hot down here!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

 Brad!!!
I had never heard of Tybee Island until a couple months ago when my friend said her & her hubby were going there for her birthday - a surprise. Looks like a beautiful place! Hope Elizabeth had fun! Sounds like Jacob is enjoying a lazy day!
Enjoy the pool!

I found this online....this is SOOOOOOOO Gracie!!!!

Wheaten Greetin

The doorbell rings. The sound of scampering feet can be heard all through the house as the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier runs towards the sound.
The dog may bark a greeting to let her owners know they are alert and ready, or is it simply excitement?
Their job? Well you might have heard of it in Wal-Mart; but you might not know it is true at the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier's house as well: they are a GREETER!
Yes, that's right, they love to be the first to meet and greet people as they stop by for a visit.

As the door is opened, what will you see first? The quick circle they spin, or the jumps of joy to greet this fabulous new person. Don't expect to get away without some licks to your face as you lean down to pet them!
Oh yes, it's a show of love when you are greeted by a Wheaten.

There is no way to avoid it - the terrier is excited to see you and wants to be the first to greet you.
It isn't scary and doesn't last long - but it is essential for the Wheaten Terrier to be the focus of attention when someone comes to the door.
After all, aren't the visitors coming to see the gorgeous, feisty, terrier dog? Why come to visit people when instead, one can visit the fabulous terrier?

Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers dogs are a breed that, by nature, love people.
They have well earned their nickname of, "Sweetie Wheatie". They gravitate to any humans who come into their world. In fact, some Wheatens will even hop into the cars of total strangers - they just adored people.
So there is no worry about a Wheaten being vicious during your greeting; just more of a worry might be how many 'kisses' you are ready to accept from your lovely greeter.

Have a great night MMC!!!

:merry:

Hope you have fun too, Holiday!!!!!!!!

Talk about a nasty storm!!! We had one hit us about 2 o'clock that just decided to stall out over us and dump the rain for about 45 minutes. The lighting and thunder were pretty bad too. It knocked out our power and apparently even the closest cell tower went down because I lost all signal on it. So I ended up not helping my neighbor because we needed lights to see what we were doing. I got a nice hour long nap in though after it stopped raining while waiting on the power to come back on.
