That having been said, given the tough winter we've come through, and the extremely wet spring(more than 25 inches of wet year to date), the frigid stuff can stay away for a very long time.

I hear you there! I used to live in Michigan, but fortunately moved away just before winter last year, so I missed out on all of the -40 degree weather... Then moved to New York after winter was over So I have yet to experience a Christmas here!
