How is your mom doing?

Thank you, HmG!

She is hanging in, resting & taking it easy.
Unfortunately, she's having some of the same pain in her knee that she had before the surgery, so she's concerned about that. She has her first follow up appointment on Tuesday, so hopefully she'll get some answers. She expected recovery pain, but not that.

I was just looking at a few things on my calendar....and I saw Darlene Love Night.

I think this year calls for something extra special.

I know this isn't the same but I was discussing what the recovery was going to be like after my daughters surgery with her ENT and he said that the pain will get worse before it gets better. Like days 3 and 4 may be much worse than days 1 and 2. Maybe your mom has a similar situation. I will keep my fingers crossed as well, I hope the doctor has answers and that her appointment goes well.
I will keep her in my prayers xoxo

It's going to be mostly sunny today with temperatures in the lower 70's. I hope these temperatures stick around for the next week. This would be perfect weather for my daughters graduation ceremony.
Not too much going on here this morning, I just sat down with my second cup of coffee. I straightened up the house and started the laundry so far. I want to get my chores out of the way this morning since we have a birthday party for my nephew this afternoon. The girls all have off from work today, that rarely happens. I'm happy that my whole family will be able to go to the party!

I hope the weather stays nice for the graduation.
We always love it when everyone gets the same day off here too, which is also not a common thing theses days. Have fun with the party.

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!! It's going to be another hot humid day here and there is no end in sight to the trend. Boo!!!! Come on fall!!!!!!! I've been out running all morning and now I have a few things that I need to get done around the apartment before the race later this afternoon. So I'll be back later to catch up. hideho everyone! I HOpe You guys are doing good! All fine over here.....well....with Kandice........my health is another story........I probably have to have surgery on my left ear because my eardrum is broken....the doctor said it doesn´t look like it will grow back together by itself. This ear is my weak spot.....Had surgery on it because of the broken eardrum in December 98 and then again in January of February 99......and on the flight back from the States in August 99 it broke again...but grew back together..........Now it seems that it won´t grow back together.....not cute....but oh well....nothing new to my ears..............I also need a gastrokopie.....because I have reflux......of course.....I always imagine the worst....I´m terribly worried of it being a cancer or something horrible like that.....The doctors have said that they don´t think it is anything bad......The doc who will do the gastrokopie looked at me like I was crazy and said "Now why would You have cancer?".......when he saw how afraid I was, he said "I´m pretty sure it´s no cancer"............It would be very nice if You could say a prayer or two for me
