The first round has moved through and the second round seems to be falling apart. Me may get a bit more rain but right now, the sun is back out.

I'm staying nice and cool inside though!!!!

Thanks Snowflake!

Enjoy your evening!

Hello! Well, it is a good sign that I was able to jump right into the site for the very first that I've tried in about 3 days. I have to tell you all this crazy story that happened to us yesterday.

Here we are having a little family get together at the house here, when there's a knock on the door. I was just walking past the front door and turned around to see this woman standing there, waving to me. She looked familiar, but I couldn't place her right way... So, she then just walks into my house, OK, a little weird now, she says I guess you don't remember me, but I was the listing agent that sold you your house. Ok, now it clicked... Then I suddenly started to think to myself, UT-oh, now what!

She say's to my wife and I, that the gentleman that sold us this house, sent her over here to see if we would be interested into selling the house back to him! WHAT????Is this a joke? Am I on Candid Camera??? She says he is willing to pay us an extra 100,000 dollars above the original selling price; all in cash and also pay for all settlement costs and fees.....

Ok, now my jaw is like on the floor... Anyways, we talked with her a bit, showed her all of the renovations that we have made to the house in the past six months and then she left her card with us to call her and she left. So, a half hour later, I'm on my back deck, eating my dinner, and I hear this...."Hello, I'm not stalking you or anything, but can i talk to you again"? There she is again, walking up to my side gate....

She says to me that she told that gentleman about all of the changes that we have made to the place and he told her to come back and talk with us again and apparently, he bumped up his offer another 35,000 dollars... I'm standing there and the only thing I can get out of my mouth is, "seriously, is this for real???"

I'm stunned, my wife is stunned, and everyone so far that was either there at the house yesterday or that we have told, has told us to take the money and run. We are tempted, but not 100% sure that we really want to do that, I mean it is a very good offer, but wow, this is just starting to feel like our home and also moving really stinks....

I do realize that the final decision is ours, but, What would you do if someone approached you with the same offer? Isn't this one of the strangest stories that you have ever heard????

Wow!!! That is crazy!!!!!! I would be stunned and then start wondering why he wants the house back so bad.

Maybe you should get a metal detector and start looking for buried treasure in the yard!!!! LOL!!!!!

I would probably be tempted but it would depend how quickly he wanted back in.

Praying for guidance for you.

Was looking through my pictures and found this

Which is the same spot as this

What a difference a few months makes !

Yep, using my phone again !

Yea!!!! I've been wondering that myself....I mean, on one hand, he may genuine-ally miss the place as he apparently say's and regrets selling it, but, this may sound bizarre, but, it could be one possible scenario, of what might this guy have here (possibly buried or cemented over; money, body or both) that he wants to make sure that it stays safe and undisturbed????? A CSI story may be unfolding....hmmmmm

Father of the Bride part 2 , Steve Martin was willing to pay any amount to get his home and his memories back after realizing what a mistake he made selling it. This reminded me of that movie.
Perhaps you should look into what the house is sitting on or maybe what future plans for the area are, could be worth a lot more than you would think and maybe that is why he is so anxious to get it back.
Of course that may not be the reason at all, could just be the memories, but you never know.
Think carefully before you accept or turn it down.

Wow, that's a weird one … my first thought was the same as made and xmastidings---have a thorough look around for hidden cash!

Is it possible to make the sell-back contingent on knowing what the former owner's reason is? (But I suppose you could never be sure of knowing if he gives you the true reason.) Anyway, it sounds awfully suspicious to me.

Exactly....is it that he's nostalgic or more to the story?

Sending you lots of prayers as you make the decision.

Just to let you know, QVC has a lot of Christmas stuff on clearance and it's all on 4 easy pays today.

Most of it is on the first page but there is some more scattered over the next 7 pages too.

If you have ever wanted one of Valerie's glitter candles but didn't want to pay full price, now is your chance!!!

Or Santa and Rudolph from last year's CIJ. Yep, they are on clearance for some reason.

But they look so innocent.

Yeah, I thought about the body thing too since you are doing construction but didn't want to be the first to bring it up. Be careful if you start breaking up the concrete anywhere!!!

Good evening, guys! Long time, no see (or at least it feels like it). I haven't been here for 3 days it says, so it's time. I've been really busy, but I wanted to stop in and say hi.

How are you all you? All is well here. DH and I had a really nice weekend in Pittsburgh. The concert was amazing. All the artists were great. Luke just gets better and better!

What is everyone up to tonight? DH got called in for overtime, so it's just me and the kids this evening. My MIL are going to watch the kids, since I will be working. Tomorrow, my friend and myself are going to take our kids, to a local amusement park.

Hope whatever you all are doing, you have a wonderful evening. Hope you're all. God Bless and keep smiling!

Hey Wing (Wo)Man!

I am glad to hear you had a great trip to Pittsburgh, have a great time at the amusement park tomorrow.
