Christmas Countdown - 2014

Hey everyone! Haven't been here a few days. Had a problem logging on, was working on my application for a program, and was just kinda busy....but it's the 4th of July week and I'm off....so y'all get to put up with me a lot more the next 7 days!

Really, really excited about this week. The 4th of July is a big week for me as it signifies time to get in serious prep mode for Christmas. While it's still far away, I can't believe how far we have come this year so fast! We are really doing some planning for Bambina's birthday, too. We went to the cake place and they gave us sample cupcakes....it's a tough life, but somebody has to do it.

Y'all have a good one. I'm going to try to find some water to put the Babygirl in.

July is when I really start getting excited too. My niece's birthday on the 14th is kind of the last big thing for us before Halloween gets here.

I know how hard it is going to be for you to try those cupcakes but it just has to be done. Just remember, you are doing it for the little bambina!!

Off to work today and then back to camp this evening. Going to be about 50 people at this get together, lots of food fun friends and family. Someone is bringing fireworks to celebrate Canada Day a bit early.
The tents are up and the pool is open !

It is a very windy & humid night here. The storms have held off most of the afternoon, which has been nice. We got a good, long walk in. And then grilled some cheeseburgers, which I had been craving.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another hot day with some more storms moving in this afternoon. So pretty much the same as every day the last 2 weeks. I need to get myself in gear and run some errands this morning. Then this evening is the Nascar race!!! Go Dale Jr!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good day friends!

My daughter, son-in-law and grandkids are moving back into a house they lived in before that is right across from us. They never lived too far from us anyway but I love having them in walking distance!!! I am so happy! They don't mind living by me either because my son-in-law said I am not like Raymond's mom from Everybody Loves Raymond - Ha ha! (If you are not familiar with the show she lives across the street from her son's family, nosy and always showing up at their house unannounced). I do respect my daughter's family privacy as well as they respect ours but we do spend a lot of time together. They have lived in a few different houses and they said this one is their very favorite. They are glad it became available again and so am I!!!

I am enjoying this summer weather so far. I cannot believe that we have remained under 95 degrees with rain and cool weather has been hitting us once in awhile. I do not ever remember a summer starting out like this before. By 4th of July it will be around 97-98 degrees so it will be heating up a bit, just don't want to see triple digits!

We have been taking the kids to the library, Perot Museum and Arboretum this week. It has been fun and busy!

I am getting excited about all the Christmas in July shows coming up!!!
