Going to watch some Christmas movies on Hallmark Movie Channel and then I have a few errands to run on my way out to my aunt's house for the cookout his evening. They have moved the town's firework display from the high school to the middle school this year so we won't be able to see it from her house. So I'll probably head home before it gets to late. I can't begin to say how excited I was to see the Christmas Card Exchange posted. Just another sign that things are about to start coming at us! I was in Sam's yesterday and saw the some stuff out (ribbon, etc). However, in the next few days or so we will make our first trip to Hobby Lobby since about the middle of December last year to see what's out! I can hardly wait!

Bambina's doctor appointment went well...growing like a weed.

It's raining but that's ok. The weekend is supposed to be beautiful. We'll be celebrating tomorrow at my in-laws house, they'll be having a family barbecue!

We just sat down and watching Aerial America right now on National Geographic Channel. It's about Massachusetts - they are talking about Fenway Park! Thinking of you, MerryCarey! I am in the mood for some America History right now but plan to switch back and forth from Hallmark to the Aerial America marathon today. I am so happy for the Hallmark Christmas movies!!! Enjoy!!!

Whew!
Preliminary reports indicate all OK at our cottage, but to ease our minds, we are going over tomorrow to check.

We plan to come back Sunday so a COUNTDOWN VOLUNTEER will be needed for Sunday morning only.

Thank you! I'm watching "1776" just now. TMC is showing the longer, director's cut. Previous years they showed the shorter, release version. What a fine movie!

Yes, I got a little excited when they skipped the Sousa, because the Boston Pops have a tradition of ending EVERY July Fourth concert with "Stars and Stripes Forever." This year they set off the fireworks early, because of the storm approaching, then ran tape of last year's "1812 Overture," then rolled the credits. I thought they would at least run tape of last year's SASF, but instead they cut to a breaking news update about evacuating the Esplanade due to the storm. We'll have plenty of Sousa here today to make up for it.
