Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good evening,





It was a busy day here, between work, and getting ready for what seems like it will be an indoor cookout tomorrow. We were in a severe thunderstorm watch most of the day here, and was upgraded to a warning on multiple occasions. The storm finally hit around 8:30 and kept going until 1030ish. Lots of lightning and thunder that shook the house, I hate storms. cheesy



We will be up early, JP is to be walking in the parade with his cub scout troop, LC didn't want to this year. I am hoping the rain stops for the parade, it was a miserable time a number of years ago when it rained during the parade.

Good Morning.



Well, maybe not so good. The area where our cottage is took a near direct hit from Hurricane Arthur last night. We will be following up to check on damage.



In the meantime:

Days to the Season: 132

Days to Christmas Day: 174



TOMORROW will see us down to SINGLE DIGITS to the two-thirds Milestone to Christmas Season 2014.

(Nice!)





Well, for all the stormy weather at the coast, it's been pretty mild here.

Had a brief hard wind yesterday afternoon that brought down some pine cones and small branches but all in all, not bad.

We have started our Independence Day holiday at 74 degrees here in the capital city.

At work, well in the parking lot, got 10min yet before I start. Work till 4:30 then heading out to camp David for a BBQ and swim ( if it warns up before then)

Happy 4th of July, MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high of 78 degree's. Not much going on this morning. Going to watch some Christmas movies on Hallmark Movie Channel and then I have a few errands to run on my way out to my aunt's house for the cookout his evening. They have moved the town's firework display from the high school to the middle school this year so we won't be able to see it from her house. So I'll probably head home before it gets to late. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi! No I dont start my new job until the 27th August! Just handed in my notice at work, have to give them 4 weeks! Then Im going to have a couple of weeks off with the girls before they go back to school and I start my new job!

Hey y'all! Happy 4th of July! We are going to sis-in-law's house for a big family gathering (about 60 people). Going to be a lot of fun. I love going to these big family cookouts because of the family atmosphere and I usually win money playing horseshoes. Gonna be a good day.

I can't begin to say how excited I was to see the Christmas Card Exchange posted. Just another sign that things are about to start coming at us! I was in Sam's yesterday and saw the some stuff out (ribbon, etc). However, in the next few days or so we will make our first trip to Hobby Lobby since about the middle of December last year to see what's out! I can hardly wait!

Bambina's doctor appointment went well...growing like a weed.
