Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning!
It's going to be a nice day, mostly sunny with temperatures around 80 degrees.
Woke up with a headache today but I took something and I'm feeling better already. My SIL was making watermelon daiquiris yesterday and boy were they good!
Not too much going on for me today. My youngest and oldest have to work, my middle one & her boyfriend are going to a car show in New Jersey and my husband has a lot to do around the house. I think I'm going to take a ride to the mall and do a little shopping, there are a few things that I need. I'm also going to stop at Hallmark and renew my Keepsake Ornament Club membership. I'm looking forward to the premiere on the 12th!

Good morning!

It will be a nice day here, hot but nice. Humidity is starting to rise so I may close this window soon in favor of the AC. I do love sitting next to the open window in the morning enjoying my tea.
Leaving for church in a bit.
Work called and wanted me to come in but I told them not until at least noon, so they are calling me back if they still want me at that time. I just do not like missing church to often and have already worked the past 2 Sundays, it was time to say no.

Good morning, everyone. How are you all doing? I'm well. Just getting this ready for DS's birthday party. He's excited, as he should be! I'm excited for him. I can't believe he will be three in just two short days.

What is everyone's plans for today? The party doesn't start until 2:00, so I will just turn Hallmark on and cook away! The kids will probably either play inside with me or play outside - we have a lot set up - the swimming pool, bounce house, swing set, sand box, and other activities to keep them busy. They're excited!

IMO, if you don't want to see Christmas things, don't look! LOL!! Or don't follow on FB, for example. Many of the pages I follow, people complain that it's too early to see Christmas pics...well, why are you following them then?! DUH. Don't be grinches, people!

I couldn't agree more. I don't know about you, but if someone posts something that is ugly and I don't like it, I quit following! I get tired of seeing people become fans of a Christmas page that posts year round and then complain about the Christmas page because it posts year round. What?!?!?!?!? Was there a lot of Fall/Harvest?

There was quite a bit of fall stuff out. I love fall stuff, but we didn't get to look long.

I adore road trips! I leave for Vermont on Friday and that is my upcoming road trip (about 9 hours)

Me, too! Road trips are the best. I love riding, listening to the radio, singing (when I'm alone, of course), and being with friends. I've got a road trip coming up Tuesday. We are driving for a school convention about 8 hours away. Should be fun!

Hey, gang! Yesterday was a blast and today is going to only get better! I've got the race coming up in about 20 minutes...go JR! Doc is cooking us some meatloaf (even after I volunteered to make nachos). I'm also going to do some yard work...and then we are putting Bambina in a pool. The Martins are still here, waiting on their young to fly. I'm sure they will be gone in the next week or so, I've gotta make sure to enjoy them while they are still here.

Weather is going to be a nice 87 degrees, but our humidity is kicking it up a notch, also. This past week spoiled a lot of us.

Exactly!!! Yes, I do the same, I just quit following.

Oh boy it's getting late, but, I have to keep myself up tonight so as to help me switch around my internal sleeping clock. Starting tomorrow night, I have to drive to Virginia, to start working on another engineering project. The hours though, are going to really stink, it's the overnight shift....I have to be in Virginia by 1:00am and work to 8am, up and down a ladder all night long, then drive back home; Yuck.....

Ick … I hope you're not stuck in that schedule for very long. It seems that engineers are like doctors. They have to be ready to serve no matter what the time of day or the weather.
