I got through the day all right, although before it was over I spilled tea on a presentation I was proofreading (no serious harm done), and when I ran out of "flags" there were no more in the supply closet. I'm just happy that I got out of there by 6 p.m. today!

I don't have any special plans (yet). I'm just glad to be home and enjoying some quiet and catching up with everyone's news. Kinda wish I had a little wine in the house. Very seldom do I drink alcohol, but this week a glass of wine wouldn't be out of place.

I know everyone's pining for fall, but me … I'm really enjoying the summer weather. After spending the day in an over-cooled office, I like going outside and feeling the heat. And I certainly enjoy seeing the sunshine and having the daylight linger, so there's still some sunshine left when I get home. Fall and winter will be fine when they get here, but right now I'm in no hurry for them. Maybe because I was a July baby. It's odd that I love Christmastime, but weather-wise summer is my favorite season.

I have a check-up in the morning. Bad timing! I can imagine what the scale will say, right after vacation and a birthday!

I don't know if you have Kroger grocery store there but they have a sushi section with vegetarian rolls that are fantastic! Yes, very good for a grocery store! They are a little pricey so it's rare that I get a chance to buy them.

We don't have a Kroger around here but I know the restaurants make them. I'll have to try it sometime!
