Thank you! I had a little dinner and made some iced tea and watched TV while I waited for Mr. (who had to work late).

So glad tomorrow's Friday. Looking forward to the weekend. And I have next Friday off. Because of the heavy workload this spring and summer, everyone was allowed to schedule a day off in July. So I'm looking forward to that, too.

I had a video CD of Yogi's... I had to order from the Philippines years ago because there was no DVD of it. Our DvD players now can't play it now so I HAD to get the DVD. cheesy

What are your weekend plans?

I am excited for the Keepsake ornament premiere, and will be going to that tomorrow. Then, my parents are coming up for the night. We're taking them out for dinner, and Mom & I plan to do a little window shopping too. And Adrian's friend is coming up on Sunday. So it will be busy! Of course, I plan to continue watching Hallmark. Going to be sad when the Christmas movies stop! At least we only have 3.5 months to wait for them to start up again!

Good Morning, Buddy!!!! Sounds like you have a great weekend, planned!!! Hope you enjoy the time with your parents and the ornament premiere!! Hope you have have fun hanging out with Randy too!!

It will be sad when the movies stop. At least we should have music choice to listen too and then HSN and QVC.

Nothing exciting for me. Just going to visit my niece's and then I'll probably swing by hallmark.

Days to the Season: 125
Days to Christmas Day: 167

UNDER half a week off now from the two-thirds Milestone to the Season, as we close on on marker number eleven.
(Time marches on!)


A bit of rain yesterday afternoon broke the heat and humidity monotony.
May happen again today.
We are at 74 degrees here, currently.


Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And ready yourselves for a great mid-July Weekend!

Thanks! On my way home from work yesterday I passed 2 utility trucks & I thought "Hmmm, wonder where they are coming from!" HA! It was fixed, but they installed a temporary line that is laying on the ground running from our house all the way through the back yard to the utility box. They told TR (contractor) it could be 4 days or 4 weeks until they trench it in! :-? Lets hope for 4 days - keeping Gracie from trying to chew on it worries me!!! Not cool! But I do have electric! TR & crew were back to working bright & early this morning. They are forming footers & possibly pouring walls today! Fun fun fun!
 
TGIF, my Christmas friends!

We finally got some much-needed rain yesterday afternoon, even though it prevented me from getting in the pool. I'll admit, I would have jumped in anyway, but the thunder and lightning are a bit too much for me.

We had a successful 2-day customer visit (Duke Power, from up in Crown's neck of the woods), but I have a bit of catching up to do now. And lunch with mom, my brother, and the kids.

I got through the day all right, although before it was over I spilled tea on a presentation I was proofreading (no serious harm done), and when I ran out of "flags" there were no more in the supply closet. I'm just happy that I got out of there by 6 p.m. today!

And I certainly enjoy seeing the sunshine and having the daylight linger, so there's still some sunshine left when I get home. It's odd that I love Christmastime, but weather-wise summer is my favorite season.

I couldn't agree with you more!!! I freeze in the office all day -I usually have my sweatshirt on. When I walk outside I soak up that heat. Feels so good!! (Now I don't love the hot AND humid, but I'm not complaining yet... LOL) Hope your check up goes well!
