Pretty quiet so far except for handful of phone calls, which are mostly being routed to people's voicemail. I brought a quick lunch with me, and I'll have that shortly. I'm making tweaks to my iTunes libraries between calls. (I brought my laptop with me so I could work on personal projects while nearly everyone's out.)

That's what I keep telling myself too! Over the next month to two, DH and my two future BILs, are going to do the stone work on our house, our sidewalk, driveway, patio, landscaping, pond, the backsplash in the kitchen and whatever else DH wants to do outside. It's going to be a lot of work, but DH wants to get it done. Next, he'll keep working on the basement!

Now come on, tell the truth. You are just trying to get it looking all nice for when I come back and visit.

Good morning MMC! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!! (In July) What a beautiful day! A high of 75º is predicted for today!!! Sunshine, breeze....why am I inside again??

The race was a lot of fun last night! It got COLD though! Crazy weather! Crawled in bed around 11:45 - that's the earliest I've been to bed all week! Hoping to crawl in much earlier tonight! I'm sleepy today! I had popcorn at Eldora last night - it's still the best!
Tonight I need to make egg nog & smokehouse spaghetti for our Christmas in July party on Saturday. They are calling for rain though - hope that's wrong!

Well, dad may go home from the hospital today. He is excited...he wants to get home to his dogs...and his good tv with netflix. Even when he has been out of it he has realized the hospital tv isn't any good. it's been a sore spot with him.

His wish was to go home again and it looks like he will so we are excited.

Good morning! Whewww, we dodged a bullet last night, we sat back on the porch last night and watched those wicked thunderstorms, just blow over our house and they hit East of us. So we only got just a little bit of rain out of it. There was some pretty wicked lighting with that storm that we saw on the horizon that gave it a neat show from our perspective.

Not much happening here with me today, I'm in between projects, so it should be a pretty quiet day today before I head to DC tomorrow morning. Have to look at a job at the ATF headquarters in DC tomorrow morning, then it's back to the office and hopefully an early weekend.

tonight, we have appointments to go back for a 2nd showing at two homes that we are interested in, tonight we are taking the kids with us for their opinion, see what happens....

Good Afternoon, Everyone!!!! Well since mom was still not doing good this morning we made a trip back to the ER. I'm not a huge fan of the doctor we got and he proved why again today. All he did was order an MRI and when it came back clear, he just sent her home. He just said it was unexplained weakness. I can tell him that there is nothing unexplained about it. It's pretty clear what is going on. Whatever though. There isn't really anything they can do anyways. It just has to run it's course and this is playing out exactly like the one in march. Face was numb and drooping the first day along with a little bit of weakness on the right side. Second day face was better but she couldn't walk because she was so weak on the right side. Then the third day that weakness started to let up and she could walk with out someone holding her up. So hopefully that pattern holds true and tomorrow she will be able to get around on her own again. I'll be back to get caught up here in a bit. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

I'm glad she's feeling a little better, but I know how frustrating it is when you can't get a clear diagnosis. Praying for her.

My Dad is in for his swallow test - right now. His apt was at 2:00! Sure hope for some good news so he doesn't have to eat all his food pureed anymore!!! xx

I got the burger browned at lunch for spaghetti. Tonight I will have to fry the bacon & boil the noodles & whip it all together. Mmmmm

I stopped at Mom/Dads on my way home from work & he was in pretty good spirits! Didn't seem to shake him too much! He's kind of funny b/c he likes attention & giving nurses/therapists a hard time! :smile: I am going to save some of this smokehouse spaghetti back for them & grind some up for Dad. I told them they can eat it tomorrow night for Christmas in July! (since this is our traditional Christmas Eve Dinner)! I am making it now while listening to Christmas on Pandora!
