We were on the flood watch again......just last year we had to leave the house and go to my mom for about a week because the flood was so high it came into the house even.....so we had a warning yesterday.....they took it back tho......Glad about that.....I prayed for it yesterday!!!

Glad it didn't turn out to be that bad yesterday.

It's pretty dark and murky out there today. There are storms and heavy rainfall in the area, and it looks (and sounds---there's the thunder) like we're going to get some of it.

We passed up the turkey dinner leftovers yesterday. It was hot, so we just made some sandwiches. We're going to have the leftovers today for a late lunch/early dinner. (Scary-sounding thunder!) Looking forward to that! And another slice of coconut cake.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Homemakingirl!!!

It's been a while everyone, plus there were some difficulties trying to get on here a few weeks back, but it seems that difficulty has been settled!

I've been extremely busy and it's been stressful here, plus my right side of my lower back is all tight, so I can't sit in this chair very longs.

I see we have JUST passed the six month countdown, and it seems like it's been forever since the last Holiday!

I'm loving the warm weather we have been having, but today it's rainy, and humid.......feeling a bit like Florida actually!

So a hearty greeting to all, and all the best during the week....oh by the way......I thrown some snowballs to a few people......good sign that I'm back! GOTTCHA ALL!

It's the last day of my vacation, :sad: (I should have another vacation in 3 more weeks though) I have enjoyed my vacation very much and really don't want to head back to the place that shatters all dreams. I did say after my vacation I would restart focusing on looking for a new job, I have 3 prospective companies that keep e-mailing me so I think I will look into those a little more seriously now.

I hooked up the new printer to the computer earlier so now, I am just going to rest and relax the rest of the day.

I'll, like normal, will be in & out the rest of the day.

Glad you are enjoying it!!! It's still in the mids 80's and humid here. Plus we have another line of storms headed this way. Yuck!!! The cooler air is on the way though.
