Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning !

We have actually had 4 days in a row with no rain!!!
Today promises to be the same.

It is nice to be getting some summer. To soon it will be over so we will enjoy what we get, tomorrow it rains again.

Good morning!
Not too much going on here today. My husband had to go to my FIL's to help him do a few things around the house. I'm a little bit aggravated because he left me with a mess here. Last night he decided to move the kitchen island over a few inches because it wasn't centered under the chandelier. In order to do that he had to do some plumbing work because the sink and dishwasher are in the island. Of course he ended up running in to a problem and it was too late to go get what he needed because the stores were closed. So now I have no running water in the kitchen and I'm stepping over all of his tools he left lying around. Grrr. He said he won't be at his father's all day so hopefully he'll resolve this by this evening. Thankfully the counter tops are still scheduled to be installed on Tuesday so he really has to get this finished.
I'll just be working on some chores around the house. I may do some shopping this afternoon if I feel up to it.

Wayne had to go get his phone repaired yesterday. Where we had to go was right around the block to Gas Monkey where they film the Discovery Show, Fast and Loud. We had decided to stop by there and get some pictures. There were signs up that filming was in progress so we had to stand back behind the gates. I have only watched the show a few times but we did see the guy with the long beard walking around. Even though I don't follow the show it was kinda cool to see the place. We live so close by it we plan to take our grandsons back to see it. They watch the show sometimes.

It's hard to see but this is the guy with the long beard. Shows I don't watch the show much, I don't know his name but I definitely recognize him! LOL

Lol, the chandelier couldn't be moved because its centered in the middle of the vaulted ceiling. Here's a picture of the way my husband vaulted it. That reminds me, we still have to get a new chandelier. That's my old one and it still has a holly berry garland wrapped around it from two Christmases ago. This project has been going on way too long!!!
