Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning everyone.

Well, my dad hardly woke up yesterday. He is awake today but is not eating. The docs told us as the end draws near he will stop eating as his body just won't get hungry. I hope I'm wrong but I fear we are reaching that point. I will keep you all updated. As always I thank you for your prayers, kind thoughts, and support! You all mean so much to me!

Good morning MMC! It must be Monday! Dreary ol day in Ohio! I did not want to get out of bed this morning - it was a great sleeping morning! Ah well... back to the grind! Hubby is on vaca this week. Lucky duck. Flooring is hopefully going in now! They were supposed to be at our house right away this morning! xx

The weather this weekend was beautiful! We got a lot of bike riding in. The wings were delish Saturday night! We have plenty of leftover too! Mmmmm!

AND I finished painting. I might still need to paint some in the kitchen, but everything else is done! Wah hoo!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We went to another county centennial program yesterday afternoon, and Jacob had to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. He looked so grown on stage in his sport coat & tie. We actually got lots of compliments on him after the program, even though his part was very short.

Since you ask ... You did it right! Some writers drop the punctuation in the title, but you can include it because setting the title in italics signals that the extra punctuation is part of the title.

Disclosure: this month is my 30th anniversary as a professional proofreader/copy editor. Dull, eh?

I have finally cleared out a small, small, small corner in the front room to access the computer, at least for a while. Right now I am using my iPad, but I will fire up the PC to use in a bit.

Made, and Ryan, too, I thought of you when I saw an article about state fair favorites, such as fried Twinkies. Well, the fairs in Oklahoma, Arizona, and California featured/will feature watermelon which was/will be deep fried and then covered with powdered sugar and a strawberry drizzle.

I will soon share some info on experiments/decisions regarding my medications and other "stuff."

Also, I have been hard at work trying to figure out some answers to our cooking situation and the remodeling process.

Well, school starts moving tomorrow....it's that time of year. If school is starting, then Christmas is coming. So excited about the three big events that are coming!

Morning all!! Thankyou to everyone that asked after us with the bad weather we have had. thankfully yesterday was not as bad as friday here for us, although I know some of the UK got hit pretty bad. Its abit windy today but nothing too bad.

Monday morning again! the weeks are flying past! we are going to be in september before we know it! Coach has posted above 19 more weekends! someone said to me the other day, If you get paid wage monthly its only 4 more pay days!!! eeekk!!

Right now, I am so pumped and stoked. Saturday evening, my wife and I were at Hobby Lobby and they had their Christmas decorations out in FULL glory.

I told the wife I am ready right now to put out the Christmas yard decorations and lights on the house!!

Good morning!
It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with temperatures in the upper 70's.
Typical day of errands and chores and more dorm shopping. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when we finish dorm shopping, lol.
My husband finished moving the kitchen island over last night. It looks good and I have running water again. It's rough not having running water in the kitchen! He's all ready for the counter tops to be installed tomorrow.

We need to get back on our bikes! I am glad you enjoyed the ride. I hope hubby enjoys his vacation, those UPS drivers sure do work hard!!! My brother (30+ years) and brother in law (about 20 years) both work for them.
