A bit murky outside earlier, but it's cloudless now! I hear we're going to get socked with rain Wednesday, though. It's okay, we had a beautiful weekend.

Good morning everyone.

Well, my dad hardly woke up yesterday. He is awake today but is not eating. The docs told us as the end draws near he will stop eating as his body just won't get hungry. I hope I'm wrong but I fear we are reaching that point. I will keep you all updated. As always I thank you for your prayers, kind thoughts, and support! You all mean so much to me!

Good morning MMC! It must be Monday! Dreary ol day in Ohio! I did not want to get out of bed this morning - it was a great sleeping morning! Ah well... back to the grind! Hubby is on vaca this week. Lucky duck. Flooring is hopefully going in now! They were supposed to be at our house right away this morning! xx
The weather this weekend was beautiful! We got a lot of bike riding in. The wings were delish Saturday night! We have plenty of leftover too! Mmmmm!
AND I finished painting. I might still need to paint some in the kitchen, but everything else is done! Wah hoo!!

It usually happens when there is an update being applied or something else going on with the server.

Right now, I am so pumped and stoked. Saturday evening, my wife and I were at Hobby Lobby and they had their Christmas decorations out in FULL glory.

I told the wife I am ready right now to put out the Christmas yard decorations and lights on the house!!

I was there Saturday too and it was great!!!

That sounds like a great idea!!!! I say go for it!!!

So wonderful to see folks returning to the forums! I have not had much time to hang out here of late.
Our family is going through a major crisis and that is taking up most of my time. I come here to take a breather and am glad that there is a happy place to come to.

Well, we had some rain on the trip to SC but it didn't cause too much inconvenience. In fact, it provided some nice cooling.
More rain is predicted for today and tomorrow.
We have commenced the new week at 70 degrees here in the capital city.

It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with temperatures in the upper 70's.
Typical day of errands and chores and more dorm shopping. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when we finish dorm shopping, lol.
My husband finished moving the kitchen island over last night. It looks good and I have running water again. It's rough not having running water in the kitchen! He's all ready for the counter tops to be installed tomorrow.

We went to another county centennial program yesterday afternoon, and Jacob had to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. He looked so grown on stage in his sport coat & tie. We actually got lots of compliments on him after the program, even though his part was very short.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's a decent day here with a high of 82 predicted today. There are some scattered storms around but so far they have missed us like they did all weekend. Of course, as soon as I type that, I hear thunder outside. LOL!!!!! My apartment got trashed over the weekend so I'm spending my day just getting it presentable again. I've been working all morning and I still have quite a bit to go. So I better get back to it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Phew! That was one heck of a party over the weekend, Made! Carl showed up and really got things crazy! Sorry we all left such a mess in your apartment but we sure had a lot of fun!

Tell your neighbor to stop banging on the wall next time and join us. There should be plenty of newspapers around for him to read.

We need to get back on our bikes! I am glad you enjoyed the ride. I hope hubby enjoys his vacation, those UPS drivers sure do work hard!!! My brother (30+ years) and brother in law (about 20 years) both work for them.

I feel your pain. I have been w/o a kitchen sink since last week Tuesday. Not fun. If I had a dollar for every time I went to the (non) kitchen sink to wash my hands... :lol: Now I don't have a bathroom sink either, so I'm down to using the bath tub - on the main floor.

Yeah, I think my brother gets 6 weeks paid vacation per year but they do put it WAY TOO many hours! I don't know how he keeps up with his running like he does and always competing in 5k's and a few longer runs.
