A biopsy was done on Joshua's liver, but it will be up to 72 hours for the results. They are trying to find the primary spot of the cancer so they can decide a course of action. A friend told me that two of her friends had liver cancer, and the doctors went in with long needles and froze the lesions. No chemo or radiation were required. We shall see.
Still praying for your son and for you. Hopefully, his treatment can be handled without chemo or radiation, too.

Good Thursday (BIG Milestone Day!), my Christmas friends!

I had to leave work early yesterday. Mom called saying she was driving herself to the emergency room with chest pain. It was too late to get her to call an ambulance, so I met her at the hospital. It turned out that she was just really dehydrated from working in the yard too much in this heat & humidity. After some fluids, she was much better so we took her home and had supper with her. She has to get a better plan for working outside during the summer!

Elizabeth finally received her letter with the results of her audition for the newest ballet, Count...The Legend of Dracula. She got the group dancing part (as she expected), but she was also invited to play a larger role as a London vampire. Oh, she was so excited! The girls will be working with a professional ballet group from Ohio, so she is beside herself. LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Glad that your Mom is ok, Brad. That must've been very scary. Praying for her!

Congrats to Elizabeth! She must be thrilled!

Wow, Merry Carey, that is so freaky! I use FB to connect with old friends from high school and with the communities where I lived as a kid. That has been so exciting for me. Plus, I have found and shared tons of recipes. I cannot imagine someone with such self-importance that he would make such a demand! That totally blew me away! I haven't seen such drama myself, but my friends who frequent FB are beyond the age for drama. The most drama I saw concerned Sears not being very professional in the area of customer service, lol!

That sounds like it's more to my speed!

I suppose that careful attention to privacy settings would cut down on the trolls and on-screen attacks and sparring I hear about frequently, but I'm still too shy. I could also see myself someday getting het up about something and posting something I later wished I hadn't.

On top of which I would be the most boring thing ever on Facebook. No photos of kids or pets to share, too shy to post photos of us, leery of sharing too much information publicly ... no point in starting! I don't say "never," but right now there's no good reason.

And it's good to hear from you regularly again!

Happy Thursday to you!

Hoping today will fly. I have tomorrow off, so I can work on what I want to work on for a change! The huge, overgrown, multi-headed Campaign that Would Not Die seems to be winding down at the office. Bracing for whatever comes next!

Keeping all of you in my Prayers, Seawaters.

The insomnia with the medication I take keeps me tired. I think I will take a Tylenol PM and try to sleep tonight. TTYT (well, really today).

Hope you were able to get some sleep!!!!

Good Morning, friends~

Wishing you a blessed Thursday!!

Good Morning, Buddy!!!! Hope you are having a good day at work and that your head is doing okay. Thinking of you. ((Hugs))

Good morning everyone! It's a rainy day here today but it's summer kind of rain so it's great. I really like the fact the weather has cooled down. :] I have my dog running around with his toy so I might go and play with him for a while. He is cheeky. He gets what he wants. ^^
Have a nice day

Congratulations to Elizabeth!!!!!!! I'm sure she will do a great job!!!!!

I saw a reference to Meceka having to make a decision about the store. Can someone direct me to the original post? I could not find it.

Stay safe, HMG. Do you have any pics of your kitchen?

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Dear Friends.

Seems like just yesterday we passed a Milestone Day and now, here's another one already.
(Actually, it wasn't much longer than just yesterday!)

But be that as it may, we now find ourselves THREE QUARTERS OF THE WAY BACK TO THE CHRISTMAS SEASON.

Days to the Season: 91
Days to Christmas Day: 133

Our next Milestone?
Well.......
Nope.
Too soon.
You'll just have to wait.
(Unless you want to consult the chart, that is.)

Ohio??? COOL! Congrats to Elizabeth!!
So glad your Moms condition was only dehydration & not a heart issue. Maybe now she'll drink more water when she's outside or not go out/stay out for so long when it's so hot!! I won't tell you how the air feels chilly here again this morning! Have a great day Brad!

XmasDreams, Harper is a cutie!!!

Thank you!
Yes, we had crazy monsoon rains. I heard we had a summers worth of rain in just a few hours!

Be careful!

Take care, CAH. I had to opt out of cooking dinner tonight, but I knew I just could not do it. I have to give myself permission to take it easy! Glad you had a good lunch with your mom. I remember your telling us about that restaurant before. Not many restaurants are so gluten- and dairy-free, or at least this close. At least you have a place that you can enjoy!

Yes and you said you will have lunch with me there! :D

Ok I know it looks like I keep posting the same picture but I took these after the counter tops were installed. We're getting there, slowly but surely. I think the backsplash will be next. Just have to pick the tile out.

I rarely post anything. I just reply to other's post. I don't remember the last time I put pictures up either. Wayne will post some from time to time.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high in the low 80's again. Nothing to exciting going on here. Just need to do my daily chores and then I have a few projects that I need to work on. I think the first thing I am going to do is look over the grocery ads and work a grocery list for next week though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
