Nice kitchen, Homemakingirl! I love all the counter space you have. I sure wish I had more counter space in my kitchen. It is so hard to cook because of the lack of counter space and becomes a bit frustrating. I know I am blessed to at least have a kitchen with food to cook! That kitchen is in the house I live in and I am blessed to have a home. Count my blessings, count my blessings! So I will stop complaining now!

You do have a beautiful kitchen. I know you must be very happy! =)

I am really looking forward to more counter space...but I feel your pain. I never had much space either. If I tried to roll out cinnamon rolls, I would have flour all over the carpet on the other side of my "island". I usually would get out a card table to roll them out on! BUT like you - was thankful to have a kitchen & food to cook!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Not much going on around here today. Looking forward to a day off tomorrow! It's my hubby & my sisters "bothday" birthday! We are going to take a drive tomorrow morning to see our cabinets! Gracie & I stayed at the lake last night - she came home with me this morning. I think she's so confused - every time she comes home, something has changed at HER house! :lol: Supposedly our contractors are coming back Monday to cut a hole in our wall & build the new room. xx Of course they are calling for rain Sunday, Monday, Tues, Wed... Go figure!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Not much going on around here today. Looking forward to a day off tomorrow! It's my hubby & my sisters "bothday" birthday! Good morning!
Thankfully the sun is now shining after all of that rain yesterday. My husband has his work cut out for him. He spent the entire day cleaning his shop and taking the machines apart. (he has a custom cabinetry and millwork business with his brother) They are trying to dry out and salvage what they can. Their main computer also had water damage. Plus we ended up with water in our basement, the pumps just couldn't keep up. And the back yard is a mess. Looks like the kitchen is getting put on the back burner again.
Typical day here of errands and chores. I also have a few college related things to do. My daughter leaves two weeks from tomorrow!

What's an island? Ha ha! Yes, my counter space is that bad. I told Wayne that most women want huge closets, I want more counter space in the kitchen! I will accept what I have and deal with it! Wayne and I have to share a closet and it's really small but I really don't mind, just would like more room in the kitchen. =) Be grateful for what I have already! :wink:

Oh I know, can you believe that schools are starting up already? Where did the summer go? Did we have a summer?

But.......For me.....There's a major YES!!!! coming from me; that means that Fall will be knocking on our doors.... Has anyone started seeing any Fall colors up around the Canadian side of things yet????

I just checked on some web sites, just to see if anything is posted yet on the Fall/ Halloween TV schedules , and they say that they will start posting in a few weeks! Oh Yea!!!!
