Evening everyone! I hope you had a great day. :] I also hope that my lazy days are going to an end because I am getting tired of being around the house. :/ I hate when any type of plans get cancelled 'cause I am then left with last-minute-attempt-to-save-the-day usually not working out.
Oh, well. I wish tomorrow will be better.
Best wishes!![]()
I hope all works out with no plans cancelled!
Wishing you all a good evening! Vicki and I just got back from eating dinner at Bob Evans Restaurant. I had the Turkey dinner and right now, I'm feeling like a stuffed turkey!!!
I have not been up to a whole heck of a lot lately, mostly I have been in this la-la-land, with not knowing yet what, exactly we are going to do about moving. We have been going back and forth with these people that are selling their home and we put in an offer, they counter, we counter, and they counter, and so on and on it has gone. We just made our LAST offer to them, and we told them so, that if they did not accept, then we will go else where's.....The gentleman said he was going to talk to his wife tonight and get back with us, so it's a wait and see game.....
In the mean time, I've been packing things up and just preparing to go somewhere, worst case, I'll rent a place for awhile, until either something comes on the market or we buy land and build, we'll just have to wait and see how things unfold....
Well, the Mrs. just walked in the door from work, so I'll talk to you al tomorrow am.....
Wishing you best of luck on the house offer!!!
Party time after construction is completed!
Yay! I will be there! =)
so chilly here today, every one has jackets on! Going to warm up again on the weekend, but for now this is great, I love to cooler temperatures.
Got the cakes baked, tomorrow I put it all together and put the fondant on and decorate.
As soon as a couple of other things are done I am going up to read for awhile before bed.
Right now I am watching "Robots" because this is a movie with Robin Williams in it. His talent lives on but he will be so missed.
I hope you post some pictures of your cake!
When I was first married, my first husband and I lived in Japan. Our kitchen was maybe 4 feet by 3 feet. My "stove" was a two-burner hot plate! I once cooked pinto beans (from scratch), using a large Folgers coffee can as my bean pot. Those were some of my funnier, happy cooking days! Later, we bought a two-burner propane stove-oven and I was in heaven! As I am sure you know, it's not about what you have; it's about who you are with (at the time).
I love that story. You can make it work no matter what the situation is!
Good evening!
I'm getting kind of sleepy but I'm trying to stay awake until my husband gets home. The poor thing is going to be exhausted, its been a really long day for him.
I just wanted to update you on the pre-school job that I was offered. I decided I didn't want to commit to the five days, especially the Monday, Wednesday & Friday shift which was 8:00 - 3:00. I asked if it would be possible to just do the Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00 - 12:00. She said yes! I'm excited, I really think I'm going to like it. I'll be working with two year olds and I just love that age. I know it seems kind of silly because its only a few hours a week but I think it's a good start for me. At least I have my foot in the door and maybe someday I can increase the hours. Like I mentioned the other day, they follow the school district schedule so I'll have off on holidays, Winter & Spring recess and of course Summer break. Oh and snow days! I have a staff meeting September 2nd and classes begin on the 4th!
Well I'm going to read while I wait for my hubby, I hope everyone has a good night. I'll see you in the morning, sweet dreams! [emoji177]
Congratulations!!! I am so happy you got the days you wanted!
