I wanted to let you know that the April Hanks (we call her Phyllis) who has posted to my wall regarding Joshua is Tom Hanks' cousin. We don't really advertise it to protect her privacy and Tom's. She is such a sweet, sweet person.

Sorry to hear that the guy is being so unreasonable. It may not be worth dealing with him further. If he's that hard to deal with when negotiating, he'll be H on wheels during the closing process.

Oh Merry, you are soooo correct about that thought. We spoke the very same words together last night, that it was going to be our concerns as well, going forward and having to possible deal with this guy for another 6 weeks until closing!

I'll find out something a little more further in about 2 hours from now, when after we get done looking at a few more houses. I'm just not sure right now, where the Mrs. is heading at this moment, in regards to her next moves.... I'm sort of leaving it up to her, because I really just don't care either way! I just want her to be happy~

I have to ask, so, who is Joshua and is April Hanks Tom's wife? Sorry, I'm a little bit behind the times.....

That sounds like it's more to my speed!

I suppose that careful attention to privacy settings would cut down on the trolls and on-screen attacks and sparring I hear about frequently, but I'm still too shy. I could also see myself someday getting het up about something and posting something I later wished I hadn't.

On top of which I would be the most boring thing ever on Facebook. No photos of kids or pets to share, too shy to post photos of us, leery of sharing too much information publicly ... no point in starting! I don't say "never," but right now there's no good reason.

If FB had a setting to hide anything political, I would surely get instant relief to what pains me most! I have seriously considered shutting my account down before the US 2016 general election.

However, FaceBook is a great place for me to keep connected to many interests like Christmas, radio stations/shows, musical artists, railfanning, etc and to my electric set of friends incarnate and folks never seen with which I share a particular interest.

The fact that I can link Spotify & Rdio (at least join those and find me!) plus other accounts to share playlists is a huge plus too.

So, I'm there and I reckon I'm staying...for now.

I just want to say thanks for all of the well wishes for mom. Her appointment today went good. Amazingly. Now 2 more to go on Tuesday. Hopefully they go just as good.
