Good Morning, Folks.

The weekend may be half through but we are well past that point in our count.

Today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 88
Days to Christmas Day: 130

And one lone week from tomorrow will see us to the 2/3 Christmas Day Milestone, believe it or not!


Just a bit warmer yet as summer slowly returns.
Still not bad though, and quite acceptable for this time of the year here in the south.
Today has started at 71 degrees here in the central sector of the great state of North Carolina.


No countdown volunteer has stepped forward yet to cover the next two mornings. Anyone want to jump in at the last moment to avert a count gap?

Good evening everybody! just checking in to see what's going on tonight. I'm sitting here watching ABC family tonight; they had Tangled on, now its the Little Mermaid and next is Pocahontas. Sorry, at 50, I'm such a big Disney kid at heart......

We went out this evening to look at several houses, the first, we could not get a time from the sellers to see it, the second, was sort of a fixer-upper, priced very reasonable but really kind of cool overall and the third, what a dump..... Uggghhh, it looked like the people that lived there, didn't know what a mop or Swiffer was, I kind of had the creeping crud feeling when I left....I had to take a shower when I went home, it was that bad....

So, still no answer in sight yet....But, tomorrows another day, so we'll see what happens.

My house was a dump when we first moved in. I cried after we bought it. But my husband saw "potential" and he was right. We didn't move in for months while it was being renovated. I can't believe the way some people live, it's crazy.

Good morning! Had a rough night sleeping last night, with so much on my mind, all I did was have these crazy dreams all night last night.

I'm starting my morning off right though, I'm having a big breakfast with a ham steak, 3 eggs sunny side up with shredded cheese on top, bagel and a cup of coffee to wash it all down with. I got an early start and I got a tub of laundry in the dryer, one in the washer, the refrigerator is all cleaned out, the rabbits are fed, and I'm getting ready to head outside in about 20 minutes to start cutting grass....

Looks to be a beautiful day around these parts here today, so I guess I'd better get my butt a moving, so as to take full advantage of it.....

It looks like we may get some rain today, I'm hoping it won't be too much. The pumps in my basement are still running like crazy since we had all of that rain last week. I have to go back to the doctor this morning for the TB reading and then they'll be able to finish filling out the paperwork for the preschool job. Not too much else planned for today. My daughter needs a few more storage containers to bring to college so we may do that and I need to get some boxes soon to start packing her stuff up. Ugh, it's getting so close. Her best friend is leaving in less than a week. They've been spending as much time together as they can. I let my daughter give notice at her job a little early, yesterday was her last day. I want her to enjoy every minute of these last two weeks. Anyway, I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be hot, humid, and rainy here today. Yuck!!!! I don't have to much going on today. Just want to run a few errands this morning and then I'm going to kick back and watch the Nascar race. I'll probably be working on some projects on the computer at the same time too.
