just heard from my daughter that Richard Attenborough died at the age of 90. He was great as Santa Claus in "miracle on 34th Street"

Really, really hot today in Paterson. I was helping my mother move her classroom around before the students come in on Tuesday. Thank god her room is air conditioned, otherwise I don't know how we could have done it!

The year is really starting to wind down.

Much cooler with lower humidity yesterday as the comfortable several day trend predicted has arrived!
Hopefully, it will hang around for the week.
Currently, we record a quite-cool-for-August 63 degrees here in central NC.

Good evening,

Finally done catching up.

Everything is done, today was a very tough day, once again a lot of tears were shed. We said our goodbyes, and celebrated her life. I am going to miss her immensely.

We drove my sister to the airport, she is back home in NC. It is tough, because we don't know the next time we will see her again.

I'll be off for the next two days as part of my bereavement time, I have been crying out of the blue often.

I did get a nice picture with my father and grandpa today, I don't have a lot with my grandma so I wanted one with them. The 3 of us have the same name, and I am the IV.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, I worked like a dog yesterday! Do dogs really work that hard? Lulu seems pretty relaxed to me.

Anyway, I finished up right at dark, so I showered and hit the hay. I woke up at 5am and the power was out. It came on around 6am. It turns out a substation transformer blew up in a neighboring town, and it killed power in two counties. I don't think anyway was hurt, though.

We ordered Jacob's class ring this morning. How can he be a junior?!? :?

I should be here all day today. I'm glad to be back at work, so I can get some rest!
