Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good 'Pines Day, everyone!

I worked this morning, but left early. I had an interview early this afternoon to substitute for the elementary list at the UCDSB, where I am currently on the high school substitute list. I think it went pretty well. We'll see if I am added in early October. Right now, at least, I still have the secondary (high school) list until then... I don't really want to teach elementary, but it will look great on my resume.

Only a few more days left of August... Oh, and, by my count, less than a month until the debut of the Christmas Blossoms thread! We're speeding through this year!

I hope you're all having a great Wednesday! I wish I could be on here more today, but there is just so much (still) going on!

I have a subscription to the magazine, and the info was in an article. I will look for it, and let you know. I ordered from her eBay shop, but after I placed the order, she sent out a message saying that she is closing her eBay shop for a bit because of a shipping issue. I will get back to you!

Gorgeous day down the shore today at Long Branch, NJ. So sad that summer is ending! The waves are at least 5 or 6 ft thanks to Hurricane Cristobal way offshore, so no swimming is happening today. Oh well! At least it's nice out.

I hope you are better soon! Not sure if there is a medical term to the condition or not, but I know several people, myself included, that experience fuzziness and extreme lack of energy the day after having a migraine.

I just spent several hours working on cleaning out the freezer as tomorrow is trash pick-up day here. There is still some stuff to take care of, but I am too short to reach the items at the very bottom. My brother will be here to help me tomorrow, so hopefully between the two of us, the whole inside will be cleared out and cleaned. It doesn't smell bad in there yet as everything hasn't melted and I used real good freezer bags for storage. Yay! At least that is one thing I don't have to deal with at the moment!!!

There are still several chores to be done so I had best get going.

I've had plenty of headaches since I was a child, but as far as I know, never a migraine (although I've had occasional visual-only migraines---those weird visual patterns that start small, spread, and are over in about 20 minutes). But sometimes I DO get the fuzziness and fatigue after a headache passes. Just hoping I'll be sharper in the morning. Resting doesn't seem to help.
