Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be hot again and it looks like it's going to stay that way until late next week. Boo!!!! It's been cool all summer and then when summer is almost over it's going to go and get hot? That's not fair!!! I have a few errands to run today so I spent most of the morning getting my chores done and playing phonebook for my neighbor again. I wonder if they will still show up at my door asking me to look up stuff for them after they move at the end of next month. I'm going to try and get caught up some of the podcasts today too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

We have purchased tickets for the Level 9 VIP tour at Johnson Space Center in Houston. My dad is going with us and it will be his birthday present from me and Wayne. While we are down there we will probably go to the beach in Galveston. I just love anything regarding space exploration - got it from my dad! I can't wait for our mini vacation!

I have not had time to catch up on the post. I hope I didn't miss anything important!

Good morning ~ Happy Friday Eve!

No contractors at our house this morning ~ 1st time all week! Not sure if they are waiting on siding, or if they are coming later. Guess we'll find out. Gracie got a bath again last night - 2 nights at home - 2 baths! :lol: She just can't stay out of the mud! Our electrician friend was over again last night til 12:30 in the morning. Not sure how he does it. I'm tired & I don't work NEAR as many hours per day/week as he does! I don't think he requires sleep! Lol! Says he's coming back tonight!

I think I'm going to go to the lake tonight to get my ingredients prepped for Cowboy Pizza tomorrow night. We are all bringing toppings for different types of pizzas & making them on the grill. Our neighbor is bringing all the crusts. Should be interesting. Besides the Cowboy Pizza, we are having a Frisch's Big Boy Pizza, bbq chicken pizza & buffalo chicken pizza & whatever anybody else brings! I also bought everything to make "Texas Caviar" for a snacky this weekend. Gotta love a holiday weekend at the lake! Unfortunately there is an 80% chance of rain Sunday! Hopefully that's overnight only! cheesy

I once made a homemade pizza using my own chili recipe as the sauce on the crust and topping it with Mexican blend of cheese.

I thought I would pop in since I had some time on my hands......it's been busy......and I have had some issues with my lower back for the last several weeks...but it is getting almost perfect!​

It's truly hard to believe it's just less than 4 months away from the holidays!!!!! Oy.........​

I will be quite busy in the next few weeks I will be relocating to my own apartment by November!!!!​

So I have much to do really soon. I will start some packing in the next few weeks.​

My contract here will end the week I finish my

moving by the 8th of November, but I start my move into my apartment come the end of September!

I can't tell you folks how I will be looking forward to having my own place, and then finding something new to do career wise.....but my trust is in the Lord to guide me!​

Maybe now I will be able to take a couple of weeks off and just relax in my own place without the stress that has been going on here! (The stress caused me my back problems)!​

It's good to say hello to you all, and I've missed being here, but that will change before the holiday!​

Hope everyone is well, and that blessings have abounded for all!​

I had planned to stay home today and get caught up around the house but my dad called and needed to buy some new sneakers for our upcoming trip and wanted me to go with him. The sneakers he has are in awful shape and I told him this tour we are taking is 4-5 hours long and he needs good shoes. The shoes he has are 10 years old and he was trying to super glue the soles on them - that's how bad they are! :lol: My mom went along as well but I have to seem to have "babysit" him in making sure he gets good comfortable shoes. My mom just wasn't sure what he should get. I don't mind "babysitting" my parents. They took care of me growing up so it's time for me to look after them! =)

It was funny because I had picked out several for him to try on and after he tried them all on I asked which ones felt the best. He pointed to his old cruddy ones and said, "Those do"! Ha ha! He is so funny!

I don't want anyone to get the image that my parents are not of sound mind. They are independent and can take care of themselves, I just like to help them when I can! I take advantage of any quality time I can get with them too even if it's shopping for shoes! =)

I think it's wonderful that you do this, CAH. Not only are you looking out for you're parents, but then you are spending time with them as well. You're a wonderful daughter!

camp is all set up and ready to be occupied tomorrow after I am done work.

Tomorrow is EA's first day of Kindergarten and it's secretly killing me. I'm trying not to let her know, as I want her to be excited. With DS started school this week too, it's been hard on this mom!

Good evening,

First day back was okay, just took a little while to get back in the swing of things.

I am very sore and tired from the first day back.

I am heading to bed shortly.

Made, the Bengals waterboys beat the Colts waterboys tonight, I would gloat but most of the players will be gone from both teams by Saturday. cheesy We will see who can gloat after October 19.

We may have some exciting news to report within the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!!! (No, it's not a baby) cheesy
