But what could we expect? It's really ill-advised to get too complacent about good weather in
these parts. At least no rain is predicted for the next few days.
We have begun this Weekend Eve at 73 degrees here in the capital city.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

I'm ready for the long weekend to begin! It's hard to keep my mind on the job today, but I have some things that are demanding my attention.

The weekend should be fun at the cabin, but Lulu can't come. She's staying with my mom, but, I swear, I hate to leave her behind. She loves my mom, but I know she'd rather be with us. I'm getting silly in my old age, eh? LOL

I have to go out to my brother's to get one of our trailers so I can take our golf cart to the cabin. If there's no cable, at least I can ride around and explore...maybe.

I waited until she walked in to cry. I was strong (until she couldn't see me!) There were parents crying when we got there. EA looked at them like they were crazy. LOL. I cried the whole way home! I'm doing okay now. Ella is cuddling with me!

Good Friday morning everyone. We will soon be leaving to pick up Ethan at college and heading to Myrtle Beach. Will be meeting my Dad, brother and his family for the 3 day weekend. It's a long drive (7 hrs) for a 3 day weekend but my Dad wants us to go and we get to spend time with Ethan too. Talk to y'all Tuesday.

Good morning, MMC family. How are you all doing this morning? I am well. EA is off to Kindergarten and was very excited to go! I took some pictures, if any of you want to look at them on Facebook that are able!

What are you all up to today? My mom is coming in for the day here soon, we're going to go for lunch and do some shopping - go to AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, etc. I want to look at some more fall decorations. I'm not sure if I'll pick up anymore today or not, but I'm going to look. I just another Terry's Village catalog yesterday and there is some things that I need to order out of there yet. Plus, the craft shows are coming!

Good morning MMC! Happy Holiday Weekend Friday! Woo Hoo! I hope everyone has some enjoyable weekend plans! We are heading to the lake later this afternoon - pizza's tonight on the grill, Buckeye football tomorrow at noon (GO BUCKS!) wedding tomorrow night & then hopefully no plans after that except hanging at the lake! YAY! My favorite thing to do! =) Gracie & I stayed there last night so I could get some of my cooking done for the weekend - I brought most of our stuff there & put it away already, which is nice to have done! It's so peaceful to wake up there in the morning - even if I do have to go to work! :lol:

I have some catching up to do around here, so I'll head off to do some reading!

[Holiday]

camp is all set up and ready to be occupied tomorrow after I am done work.
Now I am going to relax with a book and dream of doing nothing for a few days!

That type of pizza party sounds like a good idea.

I once made a homemade pizza using my own chili recipe as the sauce on the crust and topping it with Mexican blend of cheese.

Ooh, that sounds yummy! One couple tonight is making a cabbage/sausage dish instead of pizza (just to shake it up) - I told them last night, we should throw some of that on a pizza. Bet it would be yummy!! :grin:

Good evening, friends. We took the kids to a county fair tonight and they had a blast. I'm all caught up on the countdown now, so I shall head to bed. Tomorrow is EA's first day of Kindergarten and it's secretly killing me. I'm trying not to let her know, as I want her to be excited. With DS started school this week too, it's been hard on this mom!

I hope you all have a great rest of you're night! I will be around tomorrow, after I take her to school. It will be a very special moment for the both of us! Goodnight!

Whew. What a day. The car is packed and we're ready to go. We're heading out very early tomorrow morning to drive upstate. I'll probably be able to pop in here tomorrow evening, depending on what time we get in.

First day back was okay, just took a little while to get back in the swing of things.

I am very sore and tired from the first day back.

Made, the Bengals waterboys beat the Colts waterboys tonight, I would gloat but most of the players will be gone from both teams by Saturday. cheesy We will see who can gloat after October 19.

Good morning everyone! It was quite a chilly morning when I took my dog for a walk. If I had dressed better, it would have been more enjoyable. ^^
It was nice meeting my friend yesterday. We went to the coffee shop to have some yummy coffee with some free chocolate. I didn't know it was given out but it was nice. :]
I didn't find anything I was looking for uni but I bought a brithday gift for my aunt. I was worried if my mum liked the gift as mush as I did but luckily, she was happy with my choice. Phew. ^^
I have some things to do around the town today so I'd better go and wash my hair now. :>

Almost makes one afraid to look at the numbers.

And these shocking numbers reveal that we are now barely over 2 1/2 weeks away from
the 100-day Christmas Day Window and the start of our double-double digit count sequence.
