Christmas Countdown - 2014

Okay, I'm not even going to try to reply to everyone's posts from today. I have read them all though.


Holiday- Love the Gracie pics and stories!!!! She is quite the character!!!

Graywolf- Hope things start get better for you soon!!

Bradmac- I hope Jacob has a great birthday tomorrow!!!

Seawaters- Praying for you friend

Merrycarey- Love the decorations

Meceka- Glad to hear that Palmer is better today!!!

Well, I finally had a normal day today after Jude going back to school, after playdates and meetings the last two days. Our kindergarten is only 9-12 so it's so odd not having him here with us all day! Noel and I are both homebodies so we lay low with him not bugging us to go out!

I went a bit nutty in the kitchen.. made some cookies yesterday and today I made rolls, dilly beans, pickles, sauce, and pumpkin muffins. Wouldn't you know my kids already have eaten half of the muffins??? Boys are nuts! lol

I got everything clean today and pulled out the fall decor but it was just too muggy for me to get in the mood. PLUS I didn't have any candy corn on hand, so God forbid I decorate without it!!!! ha!

Good afternoon!
Things went pretty well at the preschool today. We had a few kids that wouldn't stop crying but we tried to comfort them as much as we could. I'm sure it's going to take some time but hopefully they will learn to love it. It kind of made me sad though, they are so young and they just want their mommys.
I got a call from Hallmark this afternoon and I was happy to hear that my Keepsake Club ornaments came in, so I ran out to get them. That made my day. I'm looking forward to the next premiere in October.
I also spoke with my daughter and college is going well. She's still homesick but she's much better than she was a few days ago. She's keeping busy now that classes started. I'm so relieved that she's feeling better. The only bad thing she had to report was that she dropped her Iphone today and shattered the glass. She comes home next month for Columbus Day weekend so we'll fix it for her then. She'll just have to deal with it for a few weeks. It doesn't seem to be bothering her, she's still texting me like crazy. And most importantly, the camera works fine. God forbid she couldn't take a selfie!

Are you guys cooling down next week? I think Saturday is our stormy day and then back to the 70s.. here's hoping that's the official end of hte 80s and 90s! (Although I shouldn't complain since it's been such a cool summer)

Yes. It's supposed be near 90 tomorrow and then storm overnight and saturday morning. Temps look to stay in the 70's all next week then!!!

We start our cool down overnight! Almost 90 degrees now, high of 67 tomorrow! Crazy!! Exciting! =]

I am going to be putting up some fall decorations this week. I leave my USB Christmas tree and 'Merry Christmas' wall decoration up all year (although I only turn on the decoration starting October 1). What can I say?

We were just talking about selfies today at work. A friend of mine is dating a guy that sends her an awkward amount of selfies. I believe grown men probably shouldn't take selfies or should at least keep the number down. I broke my rule and took one a few weeks ago with my dad so I'd have a new picture with him. But I still maintain grown men shouldn't!

It took a bit of doing, but I am caught up on here. Yay!

Palmer has been snoozing most of the day, but her appetite is back and there have been no more accidents so I think all is good with her now. Thank you again for all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers for her! {{{HUGS}}

Well, I put off doing my work for most of the day as it has been rather muggy and I had a headache, but now I am better so I had best get my chores done and then the stuff I need to do for the store. I foresee a busy night! cheesy
