Good evening all! I just got in from running around to a couple of stores. Tonight is our wedding anniversary; 22 years! The time sure does fly....

We've known each other officially for 27 years; we were friends for years, before we started dating....Anyhow, I got some flowers, card and balloons and have them on the table for when she gets home from work in about a half hour.

Tomorrow night, we are heading down to my grandfathers to celebrate his 96th birthday and then Saturday we are heading to Lisa's parents house to have a belated, Labor Day get together, since we did not have one because everyone was working (go figure.....). And Sunday, think I'll sleep in.....LOL~

Happy Anniversary to you and Lisa!

Glad Palmer is better. You work so hard all the time, so it was good for you to put off work for a while. With my cancer meds, I have, among other things, headaches and other complaints. It seems, though, that headaches can really drain a person of energy and any feelings of well-being. Take care, Meceka.

Oh, that is so awful that one of the side effects of your meds are headaches! It's bad enough that allergies and such can trigger them, but when you are taking something to make you feel better and get one it has to be even worse! You and your family are in my prayers!! My wife is happy to see Alphonso Rebeiro, she is hoping there will be an episode where he does "The Carlton."

I would watch that show just to see him dance! Loved it when he did "The Carlton" on the Fresh Prince!

Hope you guys are ready for a nice weekend - I bet you are!

I have this weekend off but that is because Mr Festive is in Italy. His best friend is getting married on Saturday and he is the best man Our whole family couldn't make it as it would be to complicated with the children especially as one is back at school.

So anyway, the children and I have a nice weekend in planned and I am looking forward to it as I have not had one off since Easter!

I bought my first autumn candle - Apple Pumpkin! I am waiting till it starts to feel more autumn before I light it. I am also holding on to our summer while I can. It is funny to hear you all talk about your fall temps as these are closer to our summer temps lol!

Ok , well I hope everyone is doing well. I really wish I could engage more in conversation - I have no idea what is going on lol. I figure even if I can't keep up with posts , I will atleast pop in and say hello. I don't want to be away for so long like I was recently!

Good morning!
So happy I do not have to be at the preschool today, lol. I'm just having a cup of coffee and relaxing. Not too much going on. I'm going to work on a menu plan and grocery list, maybe take a ride to the butcher. My middle daughter will be home today so I think I'm going to clean her room with her, it's such a mess. Her boyfriend got in to a car accident yesterday, thankfully he wasn't hurt. I'm so glad she wasn't in the passenger seat when it happened, he said his airbags didn't go off! He's waiting to hear if the car will be a total loss. I feel bad for him. Anyway, I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

How scary for your daughter's boyfriend! I am so glad no one was hurt and that your daughter wasn't with him in the car!

Dad has a swallow test at 9am this morning - he is out of therapy time (Medicare) so if he can't pass this test, it's pureed food for him at least until next year...so please send up a prayer he can pass it this morning! THANKS!

I got a lot accomplished for tomorrow. Going to be a busy day! Work and shopping. Really dread shopping on a Saturday, but it can't be helped this week. At least it is going to be gorgeous out ~ makes the whole day better!

Storming out so I had best get going.
