Just saw the ad today: on Dec. 26 and 27, the Boston Pops are showing Home Alone, but they will be playing the musical score live! They just did the same thing with The Wizard of Oz at Tanglewood this summer. I'd like to see that, but the ticket prices are outrageous. Even so, the front-most seats are already selling out. Sometimes when I'm on a desktop I'll try to remember to post to in the live events thread.

Busy day, just got a chance to read through the posts quick. Thank you for all of the get well wishes, I really appreciate it. I'm feeling pretty lousy so I'm going to turn in soon. I have to be back at the preschool early tomorrow. I can't believe it's only my second week there and I'm sick already. I guess it's inevitable, being around all of those little ones. I hope everyone is well, enjoy the rest of the evening. Goodnight MMC!

Good morning friends.

Well, my son's Guinea pig Norm died overnight. The kids are upset and my wife and I will miss that little guy too. He was part of our family.

Other than that, not much going on. I hope everyone is having a great week!

So sorry to hear about Norm. (((Hugs))) to you guys.

We are trying to remain hopeful & stay positive. Had a lovely chat with Dorothy over the weekend, she is such an inspiration. She has been having some good days now that the temps have dropped & humidity has lessened, she is breathing better. And when breathing better, she feels better & eats more, which gives her strength & energy. Dad's surgery was just moved up to tomorrow, so I am worried a bit but glad for it to be here too. Our friend,Brett, started treatment in Ensenada over the weekend. So, we are praying a lot!

Turtle is doing very well, he seems he has already adopted us as his own. He loves the boys, when they are sleeping he walks into both of their rooms and checks on them over and over again. He is such a happy dog.

Ok, the moving company rep has just left. The moving company has given us their estimate to move, so we just signed that contract tonight. Also, for the house we are buying, the apprasial came in, and it appraised for 45,000 more than we are paying for it.....Sure glad the guy selling it to me, doesn't get to see that! Well, at least he signed all the addendums to the contract as well, so, with all of that behind us now, I suppose we can say it is now a 99% chance, that we are getting that house....

As soon as I go to settlement, I will then sign up for the Christmas exchanges; (don't want to jinx myself)!

I had the door and windows open to let some air in, but turned back around and closed them again. It must be at a minimum of 95% humidity outside. I had to turn the air conditioning back on again to wring out some of the moisture and get the temperature back down again to 71 degrees. It looks like it wants to storm outside, but it is not doing anything yet.

Hope everyone is having a nice evening tonight. Me, it's time for me to chill out for a little while then head to bed. 4am comes around too early for me now-a-days....

On a farmers sad note: My brother called me and told me a fox got into his hen house last night and killed all his chickens. Boy- o-boy, that was one peeeeoood brother of mine. I think he's sitting out hunting tonight with his 12 gauge.....

Hey y'all! Hope everyone is doing great! I haven't got to read anything since Sunday night, so I hope nothing happened.



I thought I had seen a schedule somewhere, but does anyone know the schedule for Hallmark TV? I haven't watched any of their movies, so I'd love some input on what you think....

I love the website Snowflake posted, but I also follow mostlychristmas.com

They have a tab for Holiday Tv and you they post pretty much every channel, for everything Christmas, 365 days a year. I love it! As for as Hallmark, their my favorite Christmas movies!
