Good morning. So exciting that we are almost at the 100 days till Christmas mark !
Temperatures here are dropping as the day progresses. It was 22c (71f) this morning when I got up now it is only 11c (51f). Going to be down right chilly tonight. Must be some of that winter air blowing in from Calgary !
Off to work today then going with Monica to see the new place she is moving into on October 1. Pray for her, she is leaving an abusive situation and we will have to have to police present for this move. She may have to go into a women's shelter until then if boyfriend finds out she is leaving. With a new baby and a 5 year old in tow she is taking a brave step.
Good morning. Can't believe it's Thursday already. HOT and HUMID today but only for one day, so I suppose I will survive. Hope everyone has a great day!
Merry Morning!
How is everyone today? I hope you all are doing great.
Yesterday I was doing my weekly grocery shop online and I noticed they added the Christmas treats section. I was so excited to see it and I can only imagine that these sections will increase as the weeks go by!
Well back to getting some work done and looking after my youngest.
Have a good day all!
P.S. Snowflake I just read your update in the prayer thread, I am so happy that you father is doing well.
Good morning!
I'm off to the preschool soon. See you later this afternoon, I hope everyone has a nice day!

Good Morning, Folks.
Did everyone have a good time at the 'Pines last night?
(It's kind of hard not to, isn't it?)
It's also hard not to get excited by the latest count figures, newly printed and presented for your approval:
Days to the Season: 63
Days to Christmas Day: 105
Five -- count 'em -- FIVE more days remain until the grand opening of the 100-day Christmas Day French Windows and the commencement of a double-double digit count.
Don't know about you, but that provides my excitement for the morning. (Binger's, too.........after that first decanter of coffee, that is.)
A bit warmer and still damp here yesterday, but it was dry enough to get the too-long-delayed yard work done.
Today should be rain-free as well and I'm looking forward to seeing the sun!
For now, we show 68.5 degrees on our digital back door thermometer.
Have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks.
And get all geared up for Weekend Eve tomorrow!
Thank you, Holiday!
Happy Friday Eve!!
xx

Thank you all for your prayers!
I just spoke to my Dad, and the surgery went pretty well. They believe they got it all out. They took a skin graft from his chest for his arm. He is in some pain, but doing well otherwise. Already being my Dad & cracking jokes, bless his heart.
Hope all went well, Brad.
That's great! One of my sisters-in-law had a skin graft, and I know it's painful, but I'm glad he's doing well!
Today is 9/11, and I bet everyone remembers what they were doing when they heard the news.
I was in the backyard with my family, enjoying Jacob's 4th birthday party. I got a call that said I needed to check out the news.
It's still hard to imagine what motivates cowards to do things like that to innocent people. If their hope was to demoralize the country, I think they blew it.
Never give up, never forget.
Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Just watched the 1st "moment of silence" & listened to taps. Makes me so sad! Seems like yesterday!
Not much going on around here today - my boss is off - YAHOO!! But before you get too excited, boss #2 is in a mood! And they say women are moody!
I'm going out with the girls tonight to celebrate my birthday & one of the other girls' birthday! Of course we start the night off with Mexican! Mmmm! Looking forward to it!
Hope you all have a fantastic Thursday!!!
It did! My uncle had a triple bypass yesterday afternoon, and he came through great. He's sore (obviously), but he's going to be fine.
Thanks for the prayers and thoughts!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!
As I reported earlier, my uncle did great with his bypass surgery. Thanks for the prayers & thoughts!
Our company insurance provider just sent nurses here to the plant to draw blood, & take blood pressure. It's weird getting stuck at work, but we all do what we gotta do, eh?
Now I can have my coffee!
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
