OK.
The Christmas Blossoms thread. Starting to get pretty close, now.
Now, as to the date.....
Hmmm........
Got to give that some thought, now.
This makes me smile.

Good Saturday afternoon, my Christmas friends!
I had Jacob in Statesboro (about 30 miles from here) at 7AM to setup for his 8AM gig. It was a fun-run to raise money for a children's hospital. They did a great job.
Then Nancy & Elizabeth met us to go to my niece's wedding at 10:30AM. Quick wedding, good buffet!
Then I came home, poured more chemicals in the pool, and got on the lawn mower. The humidity is still pumping, so I was sweaty and dirty after mowing the lawn. Boy, did that shower feel great!
Now I'm thinking about putting a (turkey) hotdog on the grill. It's pretty good with some mustard and some homemade pear relish.
I hope y'all have a great evening! cheesy
A cold and rainy one here today in North Jersey! Went to the local high school football team's season opener, and after three straight state championships, the 35-7 loss was a bit of a disappointment. Here's to next week!
Anyway, tonight looks to be the first night we'll turn the heat in our house on since last March or April, with a low of 50. Tomorrow looks even worse, with the high not even reaching 70 and the low at 45!

Good evening, everyone!
Kim and I's trip to Tinsetown turned into quite the adventure. We ended up doing groceries and picking up some things for Simon the cat. We actually left at one and didn't return until around 4:30. Plenty of running around!
In terms of Tinseltown's grand expansion opening, the weather wasn't too cooperative. They had four mighty fine Christmas Carollers. Unfortunately, the cold rain and wind forced them inside, but they moved around the store and brightened the store with their merry voices. "Away in a Manger" sounded beautiful. They certainly heightened the Christmas atmosphere for all the customers. Moreover, there was also an employee dressed in Victoria era garments. She appeared as if she walked out of the world of Dickens himself.
Despite hoping to have the expansion fully prepared for this occasion, the employers were still hard at work putting the finishing touches on the new section. This led me to only be able to take about a dozen photos, which I will keep in my cannon until the debut of the legendary Christmas Blossoms thread, which I estimate will be debuted by Crown in under two weeks.
Still, there were plenty of beautiful new items throughout the store. Kim and I were very impressed. Finally, they have enough space to open it up and display everything... and there is still more coming in, apparently. The owner said that they were supposed to get another five shipments in August, but it won't be coming until October! Darn... It looks as if I will have to return there next month!!
Overall, Kim and I had another fun visit to Tinseltown. It's such a friendly store. They treat us, and all their customers, very well. Oh, and they also had delicious ginger bread cookies for everyone! Yet another thing that really made me ready for the Season!
Thankfully, we didn't leave empty-handed - we never do. I purchased a beautiful old style street post lamp. We wanted two, but they only had one left. Good thing they are getting more in soon! I also purchased a fantastic "Santa's Magical Key." They have a bunch that have just come in. I missed out last year, so I am glad to have found it again for this Season! Kim purchased a nice Christmas moustache mug. I'll take pictures later... She collects mugs. As soon as she saw it, I knew she would be bringing it home. In terms of Christmas stuff, she purchased a beautiful Bree Cheese knee that says "BELIEVE." She also bought a nice wooden "TRICK OR TREAT" sign for Halloween. We'll have to take some photos of these shortly!
Well, it was a great day in Ottawa, despite the weather. Now, I think we're going to take it easy tonight and enjoy a movie (or two). Right now, we are watching The Book Thief on Netflix. Hopefully we can put on a Christmas movie next!!
Enjoy your Saturday evening everyone!

Good morning, guys! How are you all doing? I am doing well! Been very busy and I know I'm getting behind here. I hope to get caught up over the next couple of days.
Last evening, we had EA's 5th birthday party. I even believe she will be 5 on Monday. DH and I got her a new Barbie bike and we also got her an American Girl Doll. She said was the best birthday yet. Her friends had a blast too. Her Frozen cake was beautiful!
Today, we're going to my best friends daughter's 1st birthday. It's also hard she is turning 1. Where are these years going for our children?
Hope you're all doing well and having a good weekend so far! Thinking of all of you and your families. Lots of prayers!
Made: Praying for you and hope you're starting to feel better, buddy!
What a glorious picture.....thanks for sharing......!I want to go full Griswold like that!
