Good Morning.

Well, we are again post-Milestone.
But doesn't that mean we are also pre-Milestone?
Of course.
(But more about that later)

For now, let's examine today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 57
Days to Christmas Day: 99

And yes, you read that right, BOTH of our counts are now in double-digit form, meaning we have just started to enter the final approach.

Our next Milestone?
You had better get a good, tight hold on that yule log. (A non-burning one, of course.)
It's the THREE QUARTERS marker to Christmas Day and it's ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!

Whew!
Let's change the topic before we swoon.

Quite comfortable weather was had here yestereday with nothing more than an evening sprinkle.
It should be dry today and the humidity should not be overly high.
We are currently at 68 degrees here in central NC.

OK.
Place: The Pines.
The director: Carl.
The enticement: "Double-Double Deal Day".

Yes, in honor of reaching a double-double digit count, Carl and crew have decreed the first TWO fired twinkies and glasses of sweet tea will be free and all purchases will be two for the price of one.
(Double-up, everyone!)

And with that happy thought, have a Wildly Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

Hello MMC Forums!

Checking in the for the first time this year. 99 days to go would you believe it! I'm starting to think about Christmas more and more now and do some light mental planning. I graced the day by playing First Snow by Trans-Siberian Orchestra on the guitar to signal the start of my Christmas thinking for the year. I have a feeling I'll be breaking out more Christmas music starting today.

Hope everybody is doing well!

OK, Guys!
With the Christmas Blossoms thread looming just around the corner, I carried my trusty Kodak out to Belks today and snapped
5-6 nice thread-launching photos I think you'll like.
(Tuesday is a good day for photography at the mall. The crowds are small to non-existant and the mall police aren't as vigilant.)

Timetable?
Definitely some time next week, but no earlier than the first day of Fall.
(I just don't feel right about launching a Christmas photo thread in the Summer!)

Stay tuned!

- Crown

Thanks Crown~ Exciting!!!!

Good Milestone evening, MMC!!

Now that looks COZY!!!

I gotta tell you, having an air compressor running right behind your kitchen window and then having 2 guys with nail guns nailing down shingles right above your head, makes for a noisy afternoon.

Hope you have a quieter day today!!!

I got this recipe in an email this morning & for some reason I thought of you all....

Pumpkin Pie Latte

Enjoy this espresso drink during the holidays or all year round! With just the right amount of spice, it tastes just like the popular version found at gourmet coffee shops.

2 ServingsPrep/Total Time: 15 min.

2 cups milk
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup hot brewed Easy Espresso
Whipped cream, pumpkin pie spice and ground nutmeg, optional

Directions
In a small saucepan, combine the milk, pumpkin and sugar. Cook and
stir over medium heat until steaming. Remove from the heat; stir in
vanilla and pie spice. Transfer to a blender; cover and process for
15 seconds or until foamy.

Pour into two mugs; add espresso. Garnish with whipped cream and
spices if desired. Yield: 2 servings.

Nutritional Facts: 1-1/4 cups (calculated without whipped cream) equals 234 calories, 8 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 33 mg cholesterol, 122 mg sodium, 26 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 8 g protein.

I am loving all the emails I am getting from Bath and Body Works. They have so many new fall fragrances out! They have them all on sale 2 for 22 bucks right now! I also have a coupon for 10 bucks off with a purchase of $30.00 or more. The fall fragrances are my favorite scents of the whole year. Time to head to the mall to sniff candles!!!

My favorite one!!! I went through 4 of these last year and have 2 new ones this year.

Made,
how are you feeling today? I hope there has been some improvement!

Sounds like fun, I hope it does work out for you.

I love the Blues Brothers!!!

Hey there...I lost Track of the Countdown.....could it be we r below 100 days?

Track lost Track?!?!?!

Merry Morning!

I didn't get a chance to pop back yesterday but I hope you all had a great milestone day! I baked a cake for the occasion but more than half of it leaked out of the cake tin while it was in the oven. It is one of those tins with the removable bottoms. I spent the evening cleaning my oven. Anyway, we ended up with a thin layer that was very enjoyable LOL !!

Well have a great day everyone and Happy Pines Day!

This made me laugh because I was watching Trisha Yearwood's cooking show on Food Network yesterday and she was baking an apple pie and to be sure to poke holes in the crust so it won't burst. She was joking on if it does burst she just eats the pie off the door of the oven. So grab your fork and just eat the cake out of the oven itself!

Pumpkin in the coffee?! I have to try that! Usually it's just the pumpkin spices only in the coffee, never tried it with actual pumpkin. Thanks for sharing!!!

Holiday, don't forget to post this in the Recipes thread for everyone! I think a lot of people would like this, especially this time of year.

Happy Wednesday-Pines Day-Hump Day!

Beautiful fall weather here again.

Something pulled in my back Sunday afternoon and again last night, after it was getting better. So I'll be at the office hurting until it's time to go see the doctor. I almost never have trouble with my back, but I guess I'm old enough now to start!

watching "Nightmare Before Christmas"
I am making a cake for the competition on November 16. Theme is anything Tim Burton, so I am doing this movie.
Of course it will be a "dummy" cake (made of Styrofoam, but decorated just like a real cake)
So I am getting started with the many decorations that are going to be on it.

LOL, I typed this a lot earlier, just now noticed I forgot to send it!

Sounds like FUN!! Good luck with the competition!

Hi everyone! Hope you're well and having a great week so far!

Hope you are having a good week too sugar!

Good evening,

I should probably be asleep by now, I am exhausted from my really early morning shift today. I came home and passed out for a quick nap, but that wasn't enough. Hey, I have tomorrow off, so I can sleep then.

Nothing real exciting going on here, just making my 100 day milestone visit.

Good night, everyone!!!

Enjoy your day off!!!
