Good evening everyone. My youngest came home from college last night, for good. She's going to transfer to a local school. She's been incredibly homesick and struggling with anxiety since we moved her in a few weeks ago. My husband is upset, doesn't think she had enough time to get adjusted. I feel like I did the right thing. I know my daughter better than anyone. We got to FaceTime Friday night and it frightened me when I saw how depressed she was. I'm so exhausted from this whole thing. But I'm glad that she's home. Everything will work out, it always does.
My middle one is sending me pictures right now of a kitten she wants to adopt. My husband will have a fit if I let her bring another one home. She's awfully cute though. They are all so darn cute!

My cousin went through the same thing her first year of college, she couldn't get over the homesickness. I hope she is doing well.

I just read through the posts quick and I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words, thoughts & prayers regarding my daughter. I won't be surprised if I end up catching a lot of flak for letting her come home so I can't tell you how much I appreciate the encouraging words from all of you. I am so blessed to be a part of this special forum.
Xmastidings, I hope your daughter is feeling better after her visit home. I will keep her in my thoughts. I wish my husband was as sympathetic as you are.
Well I had a super busy day and I have to be at the preschool early tomorrow so I'm going to turn in soon.

I didn't realize how late it was, I have been listening to music and slowly going through today's posts.

It's officially fall!!! Wooohooo!!!

I have tomorrow off, but I have to bring JP to the doctor for his physical. Besides that nothing real pressing.
