Christmas Countdown - 2014

My mom and I took a walk out at the Arboretum yesterday and I took some pictures of the Pumpkin Village. I could not get it all in one shot but if I could you would be blown away! This place looks amazing! It looks better than the last time I seen them set it up a couple of years ago.

We plan to go back and visit again so I will get more pictures when we do. Here are a few.

Snowflake, the picture you posted of the squirrel reminded me to upload this video I took.

Everyone, take a look (it's only 21 seconds long)! The squirrels at the Arboretum Pumpkin Village are having fun too! =)

Good afternoon all! I have been trying to play catch up today but I have a long way to go! I hope everyone is having a great Autumn so far! It's hard to believe it's already here isn't it!

Last night while I was watching Hallmark Channel with Brandi I noticed the 'ticker' said something like 35 days until "countdown to Christmas" starts. I guess they are really going to get started at 6am on November 1st!!! Awesome!

Around here the trees are beginning to turn bright yellows and orange and red, but I think most stuff turns after October1st. Today the high was 90F and I think it was probably our last 90 day until 2015! The weekend looks to start raining and cloudy and then lows more seasonable down in the 40's and highs in the 60 and upper 50's, then the colours will really begin to change!!!

It's about time for the wife to get home from her classes, I go back to work on October 1st and will work 3pm to 11pm/I really think that will work great for us.I will still try to catch up too!!! Have a great evening everyone!

I also forgot to say that I plan to decorate for Halloween and Fall on Sat October 4,2014! There are a few of my neighbors who have beaten me to it! Brandi says that the day after Labor day Target and walmart had the cotton candy and candy corn out. As much as I like to complain about how early they start each year I love the fact that it is that time again! I have not had the chance to go to the Yankee Candle Co so far this year.

The leaves are starting to turn here, too-so beautiful! We are going to be hitting close to 80 degrees this weekend, summer's last hurrah!

It is very exciting to see Hallmark's countdown to the countdown

Hallmark is actually starting Christmas movies on Halloween this year!!!

Enjoy the beauty of the leaves changing!! There are only a few tree's around here starting to change.

Glad to hear that you got the new work schedule and that it will work out for you guys!!!
