I just posted this in the 2014 Halloween thread but thought I would post here as well.

My mom and I took a walk out at the Arboretum yesterday and I took some pictures of the Pumpkin Village. I could not get it all in one shot but if I could you would be blown away! This place looks amazing! It looks better than the last time I seen them set it up a couple of years ago.

We plan to go back and visit again so I will get more pictures when we do. Here are a few.

Good evening friends! I didn't plan on going to lunch & not returning, but craziness ensued at lunch!! My brother/sil's flight was cancelled (you know - the one we have a WHOLE WEEKEND party planned for!!!) :? So texts & calls were flying from the whole family. Long story short, they are FINALLY ready to take off from Philly! Their flight ended up getting pushed up a little (from the original delay time) - so that's a blessing! They are going to stay overnight at a hotel close to the airport & we are going to pick them up "on the way" (well, sort of) to Indy tomorrow! I know my Mom/Dad are so bummed they won't get to see them now until Saturday! :sad: AND my sil must have a really terrible cold & feels horrid! What a great day to be stuck in an airport! Hopefully she will fell better by the morning. She is a fiery Italian - who I love to death - and I can only imagine the grief the peeps at the airport counter took tonight! :lol:

Glad they managed to get a flight out tonight!!!! Hope your SIL feels a lot better by morning!!!!!!

I wish I liked eggnog, I keep trying it, just don't like it though.

Just watched Derek Jeter's last home game. Amazing that he got the walk-off win in his last game ever at the big ballpark in the Bronx, Yankee Stadium.

Baseball is magical.

There are not enough players like him any more, it will be sad to see him retire. I am a diehard Red Sox fan, and can't stand the Yankees. Gotta respect Jeter, though.
