Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's supposed to be around 60 degrees and sunny here in central Indy today. So basically perfect!!! I don't really have anything on my agenda for today. I may run to the store just to kill some time and look around. Then again, I may just sit here and watch for Snowflake to post some more beautiful pictures from her trip. Then tonight is the nascar race. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone!

We made it to Cornwall last night. It was an easy drive - despite a dangerous driver causing a backlog by only traveling 60 km/h in a 80 km/h zone. No passing lane either on this highway. Frustrating.

Simon hasn't taken to being stuck in a small bedroom very well. We've brought him out a lot, but the other two cats do not seem to be very welcoming (not surprised). The dog is overexcited, but he can never play well with other animals. It's too bad. We're trying to introduce them a bit more this morning. It seems to be going a little better... Simon is letting Toby know when he's getting too close.

I forgot to mention that yesterday was my dad's 60th birthday! Hard to believe. He's 60 and his mom (my grandmother) would have been 100 in the same year. Too bad she passed in July. I phoned him to wish him a happy one, but he wasn't home. I believe he is coming up for a few days next week, so Kim and I will purchase him a new Bruins sweater and take him out for dinner.

I guess we have a few things to do today in Cornwall. I have to finish my Oktoberfest Halloween costume and a few other things. I hope everyones long weekend has gotten off to a great start!
