Thanks dear Snowflake22, yes it's our Thanksgiving here, but I'm alone, no family here, mine are in the states, but only two are alive.
I'm busy with preparations for a dinner party on October 18th for 14 persons today.
Now I want to say, that I shall be on more often, because I moved into my new apartment just tow weeks ago, and finally everything is basically in place, just need to hang my picture frames and do some paper/desk organizing, but I'm basically done and settled! Hurray!

I'm hoping everyone has been fine, and that the good Lord has kept each and everyone of you healthy, and have provided everything you need!

So watch out everyone I'M BACK!!!!!!
I missed you all, and now our favourite time of year is here, and closer to you know WHAT!
Happy thanksgiving to all of the other Canadians on MMC! Eat your hearts out.......but keep it healthy....well try at least!!!!

Later........!

:family:
I have been in Montreal a few times, we also go through there on the way to my sisters place in Milton Vermont. Next time I go we will have to meet for a tea somewhere!
Your dinner sounds like it will be great fun. Congrats on the new apartment. We are looking for something else, but I think we are going to wait until spring before that happens.
So glad you will be back here more!!

Every time I see this little cutie, I want to hold her on my lap!

You have a great day too!

Good Morning and Happy Monday!
I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Good Morning, Fantastic Friends!

Wow. Another week here already.

Another count set, too!
Days to the Season: 31
Days to Christmas Day: 73

One - month - from - today, Guys.
It will be here.
CHRISTMAS SEASON 2014 -- in all its glory!

Hard to believe it's so soon! And I'll be in 100% Christmas music mode before then! I usually prepare to switch over November 1st, soon as the last ghost has drifted out of sight.

Greetings BRENT!!!!!!

Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving! Oh, and happy one month until the Season!
A day full of celebrations! In just one month we will be welcoming the Christmas Season on Thursday, November 13th. I hope to have the opportunity to ring in the tradition with all of you as we countdown in realtime while the clock moves from 11:59pm to 12:00am.

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner last night. Kim's mom prepared some delicious stuffing/dressing, the turkey was nice and tender, and everything else was more than enjoyable, too! Of course, it is always nice to see Kim's side of the family. They can be loud, but only because they all get along so well. I am still a little full this morning.

The Packers had me fairly frightened yesterday. What a finish! There were many plays late in the third quarter that led me to believe the win would slip away. Thankfully, Rodgers commanded a fantastic drive . Phew! 4-2 is much better than 3-3.

All right. It's time to prepare to head back to Ottawa. It has been quite an adventure in Cornwall. Simon has gotten up to some mischief - he figured out how to open the closed doors throughout the house - but he seems to be OK here. He doesn't quite get along with the dogs or cats, but it is a process.

Let the packing begin. Let the countdown to our next holiday begin! Halloween doesn't really count since it is not a day off. For some, it is Remembrance Day. For many others, it's CHRISTMAS! Happy one month to the Season! Enjoy your holiday Monday!!

:family:

A Happy Thanksgiving to you fellow Canadian! I'm in Montreal....not too far from you.

Thank you for the festive wishes, and I can see you had a good one. I'm alone so no dinner for me.......but I will be preparing food for a client's dinner party on the 18th of October, for 14 persons, with Turkey being it's main attraction, TWO turkeys shall be the fare for the evening along with other gourmet delectables!
All you have to do now is go jog, for a while and burn off the excess!

Take care and have a great day of relaxing!
Later.......:happyturkey:

Hello everyone! I am so happy to have my big boy Jude off from school today. The boys have been playing Legos so nicely together all morning, so I've put off my errands for now and have been looking through Christmas boards on Pinterest. I feel so festive!

Have a great day!

I always enjoyed days off with my kids too.

Get well!!!!!!

I started out fairly nice this morning but now it had gotten chilly and is raining. I think I may have to turn on the furnace for awhile.
Good thing I have no where to go either !
Enjoy your day

:gobble:

I sure hope you feel better, no use eating alot of turkey, best keep with a simple chicken broth, better yet Turkey, with some carrots, fresh ginger, basil, a little garlic, and for an extra amount of comfort.....egg noodles......YUM!

Drink plenty of fluids, and peppermint tea is good for the stomach, and or try some fresh roasted ginger strips in hot water, oooooohhhh, that will assist in clearing up your sinuses for sure!
I'm thinking about you.....take care.
Later.......!

That would be great, but I will have some nice Java, if you don't mind!
Just let me know when and if that should happen!
I agree the spring is a much better time of year to move.
Thank you for the well wishes, it's much appreciated, I love my new digs, it's lovely, peaceful, and so many amenities!
Once this dinner party is over, then I will concentrate on the holidays, planning a " Launching" of my catering business hopefully sometime in late November or early December....I'll see.
Take care, and we will talk later!

A happy Thanksgiving/Columbus Day to all!

As I mentioned, we have a day off here. No particular plans, but I need to get more work done on this year's YuleTube. Getting close to the final version, but I want to tweak a few things yet. I also may go into my iTunes Christmas library and tweak that up so it will be ready to sync in a couple weeks. So close to Halloween and the start of the Season!

It's time for me to go home. I wish you all a great monday evening.

Hopefully I see you tomorrow.

look forward to it! Usually take mom down in the spring, most likely mid April.

my son loves to do stuff on YouTube, his favorite is doing reviews of Lego kits.
Hope you get it all worked out!

I have not done a very good job at catching up. I had to go home to meet our cabinet maker about wood for around the new doorway & window from kitchen to new room & it took him quite awhile to figure something out. Poor guy has his work cut out for him! The plumber was also there, finishing up. Woo Hoo! Hopefully this afternoon I can catch up!!!

Hope you all are doing well on this Monday!
