Good morning MMC!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians!!! I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday!! :family:
We have a dreary/rainy ol day going on in Ohio. It's warmer, but it looks like it should be 9:30 pm instead of am! I just got a text from my friend saying she & her 2 oldest daughters are home sick today with sinus infections, so they decided to get in the Christmas spirit & they are watching Elf! AWE!!! I'm a little jealous, though not of the being sick part!!! Seems like an awesome Christmas movie day!!!
I hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was pretty uneventful. We were at the lake. There was no Buckeye game on Saturday ~ my Browns won yesterday ~ holy smokes!!!Our friends from Pittsburgh were texting during the game. Fun stuff! We moved furniture into the new room yesterday. Our cabinet maker is coming over today to check out what he needs to do to encase the doorway & the window that we took out in wood. I think that's about it!
Now I'm off to catch up on what I missed over the weekend! (hopefully) Have a GREAT Monday everyone!!!
Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving! Oh, and happy one month until the Season!
A day full of celebrations! In just one month we will be welcoming the Christmas Season on Thursday, November 13th. I hope to have the opportunity to ring in the tradition with all of you as we countdown in realtime while the clock moves from 11:59pm to 12:00am.
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner last night. Kim's mom prepared some delicious stuffing/dressing, the turkey was nice and tender, and everything else was more than enjoyable, too! Of course, it is always nice to see Kim's side of the family. They can be loud, but only because they all get along so well. I am still a little full this morning.
The Packers had me fairly frightened yesterday. What a finish! There were many plays late in the third quarter that led me to believe the win would slip away. Thankfully, Rodgers commanded a fantastic drive . Phew! 4-2 is much better than 3-3.
All right. It's time to prepare to head back to Ottawa. It has been quite an adventure in Cornwall. Simon has gotten up to some mischief - he figured out how to open the closed doors throughout the house - but he seems to be OK here. He doesn't quite get along with the dogs or cats, but it is a process.
Let the packing begin. Let the countdown to our next holiday begin! Halloween doesn't really count since it is not a day off. For some, it is Remembrance Day. For many others, it's CHRISTMAS! Happy one month to the Season! Enjoy your holiday Monday!!
Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to rain and storm pretty much all day here in Central Indy. So I'm just going to stay home instead of running the errands that I had planned for today. Maybe I will listen to some Christmas music while doing my chores. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
It was a thought because as a door greeter there are lots of hand shakes and hugs! Ha ha!
Snow-in-Texas will be having a routine procedure done in that hospital where the Ebola patients are. Kinda freaky to think about but he should be good! He was just at that hospital last week for his check up with the doctor.

Thanks dear Snowflake22, yes it's our Thanksgiving here, but I'm alone, no family here, mine are in the states, but only two are alive.
I'm busy with preparations for a dinner party on October 18th for 14 persons today.
Now I want to say, that I shall be on more often, because I moved into my new apartment just tow weeks ago, and finally everything is basically in place, just need to hang my picture frames and do some paper/desk organizing, but I'm basically done and settled! Hurray!
I'm hoping everyone has been fine, and that the good Lord has kept each and everyone of you healthy, and have provided everything you need!
So watch out everyone I'M BACK!!!!!!
I missed you all, and now our favourite time of year is here, and closer to you know WHAT!
Happy thanksgiving to all of the other Canadians on MMC! Eat your hearts out.......but keep it healthy....well try at least!!!!
Later........!
:family:
Hello everyone! I am so happy to have my big boy Jude off from school today. The boys have been playing Legos so nicely together all morning, so I've put off my errands for now and have been looking through Christmas boards on Pinterest. I feel so festive!
Have a great day!

And Happy Columbus Day to everyone in the states!
Can't believe that we are only a little over a month till our Thanksgiving and the official start of holiday season! Getting very excited and looking forward to an awesome holiday season!
Hope everyone is doing great and having a great start to another week!
I'm working on catching up on posts here from yesterday, Joan and I decided to have an "off the grid" day, stayed off of facebook, the phone and just watched movies, TV and relaxed before the start of another long work week.
Anyway, have a great day everyone!!

Good evening, buddy! Stay safe in those storms! Hope you're having a great day and getting your chores done!
:served:
That would be great, but I will have some nice Java, if you don't mind!
Just let me know when and if that should happen!
I agree the spring is a much better time of year to move.
Thank you for the well wishes, it's much appreciated, I love my new digs, it's lovely, peaceful, and so many amenities!
Once this dinner party is over, then I will concentrate on the holidays, planning a " Launching" of my catering business hopefully sometime in late November or early December....I'll see.
Take care, and we will talk later!
